That's easy  It's my Nickname (Paddy) + uwu (because I use uwu unironically >:3 )
I used to go be Paddoof (Paddy + Bidoof my favorite Pokemon)

Oh, this is a pretty funny one. Basically, back when I was in middle school, I really badly wanted to become a youtuber like Pewdiepie, but I had to come up with a cool name, a name which stood out. I wasn't able to find any and, at a certain point, I also remember opting for "TheCobra260" or something like that. That stuff was far too edgy and didn't reflect how I actually am so, for a period of time I just kept thinking.

Then, one day, I came up all of a sudden with the name "Doublekey". I don't know why precisely and how, but my brain just told me "Hey, what about Doublekey? It sounds cool, doesn't it?". I thought it was quite a creative name so, in the end, I decided to keep it. Later on, I also gave this name to a main character of mine (he was the protagonist of my Pokemon fan series. It's a long story, maybe one day I'll tell it). So, yeah, unfortunately there's not much of an origin story, I just kinda came up with it along the way and thought it sounded cool and mysterious at the same time. A youtuber named Doublekey who made animations and played games, to me, seemed quite a cool idea.

It's just random. I really don't and can't even remember why this is my nickname but it stuck so here I am after two plus years.

My real name is Anna and my father sometimes call me by one variant of my name Нюра (I don't even know how to write it in English, Njura? Niura?) and there was a tee I really liked called "Princess Noori", so I decided this was a good way to write it in English

Oof, my username? Well, a few years ago, I wanted to go on YouTube as a vocal artist. My first thought was the phrase "She has those golden tones." My favorite gemstone is the opal, so I thought changing gold with opal would be even prettier. Yes, that was 100% my thought process, I was a very vain child. :joy: Anyway, I moved away from the YouTube phase before I could talk my parents into letting me create a channel, but the username Opal Tones stuck in my mind. It's been my username for every website I've signed up for ever since then. I'm still into music as a whole. Is there any dude with some pipes wanting to get out there? Just thought of that.

Well I was on probation at the time and I have no friends and I was cheated on by like 5 different dudes and I felt like the world was against me

Well, that's just the one the forums auto generated for me, likely from my e-mail. By the time I figured out how to change it on the forums, several people had already at-symbolled me under this name, so I decided it would be better to leave it and put Opal Tones as the name under it. My username on Tapas is still Opal Tones, if you click my username and click the link to my first comic, that will prove it.

Well, mine doesn't have a history behind it. It is pretty simple how I came up with it back when I was making my accounts on 2014
Red is my favorite color, while Lenai is an anagram of my real name "Ailén", a native south-american name that means "Little coalt"

I am moderately obsessed with coffee. I feel like I can't be productive without it. sometimes when the anxiety attacks and depresso get really bad, I drink 5-6 cups more than I should. it only worsens my state but for some reason my brain always goes "you NEED more coffee or else you can't function"
It's a desperate coping mechanism to always drink coffee whenever I feel like shit lol

my username is an inside joke on my obsession. I've always loved coffee since I was a wee 5 year old raiding my mom's stash of 3 in 1 instant coffee packets. ah, good times.

'Soulless smiles'
well,
Smiles Oasis
Is an anagram of my name. I was briefly considering using that- and I do in some instances. But It wasn't what I really wanted for my 'Pen name' I liked the idea of using my real last name, but I also didn't want to use my real name on the internet. So I came to a middle ground.

Soulless <-- is a phonetic mimic to my real last name.

And Smiles because:
1) It sounds cool
2) I smile a lot
3) I like the balance of sad and happy things.
The word Soulless is typically not viewed as a positive thing. Smiles are a positive thing.
Together, they are an unnerving kind of smile.

Soulless Smiles.
I Just want to be full of love  and sharp things :knife:
Both are important to know the true significance of the other. That's contrast BB :sunglasses:

The background for my name is probably the most basic. There’s DC Comics, Marvel Comics, Image Comics, Dark Horse Comics… so what’s the next brand title that rolls off the tongue so smoothly? Amazement Comics, and it’s served me well ever since.

are you sure you want to know?... :smiling_imp:

its a legendary tale that will shock you to your core! haunt your dreams! and possibly... make you insane with envy! :smiling_imp:

"ilikepizza" was already taken at the time.
was too lazy to think of a clever name to surpass all usernames.
so i just added simply to my name  tadah!

I wanted to stream fighting games a long time ago, then gave up but still use the name.

Mine is fairly plain to see, for I am Angie, and I draw the things. X-D

Before this, I went by Angiechan because my friends gave me the nickname.

vibrantfox is the second username i've gone under (insomniac being the first as i used to have and still have tbh sleeping problems and did a lot of drawing in the wee hours of the day/night)

as for vibrantfox, vibrant because i'm a slut for bright colors and cool palettes and fox coz it's one of my favorite animals and one i've been compared to on a couple of occasions

other monikers i've used are also pretty simple:

  • demonquiche was "borrowed" from a tiktok by bdylanhollis and was a word/phrase he'd used to describe a "savory" pikle cheesecake
  • ferretfluff was my desperate attempt at finding something cute to go along with my new fursona (a ferret/ermine type creature) but since i'm not the best a puns/wordplay i just went with ferretfluff
  • and monobun was my play on an opposite to vibrantfox, mono or monochromatic to contrast vibrant and bun or bunny since it's one of the prey animals to foxes (at least afaik)

each one wound up being for specific content too with vibrantfox being my main general art brand monobun being for "mature" stuff (which is really just randomness or venty crap thus it kind of being phased out) demonquihe is now mainly associated with my h+h stuff (or so i hope) since it's a play on quiche the main character and their "identity " (tho they're not really a demon) and ferretfluff is for the furry stuff and technically the mature/suggestive stuff that would've gone under monobun since again i'm just kind of over that name and mono is literally now the rabbit character in h+h thus the shift to ferretfluff

looking at all that i could try to homogenize everything under just one dn but i kind of like the variety

I have two fursonas I use, one is a goat and one is a bat. That's all there is to it haha

Goatdolls, which I use sometimes is similar- I love goats & I collect dolls. Thus- goat + dolls

im kind of a ghoul, meaning i watched alot of horror movies, can hide anywhere and not be seen, even for a guy my size i can just dissappear,I could scare people without trying, and maybe somewhat demented :stuck_out_tongue: plus years back wanted a cool name so.... tada

Your story has a funny backstory hahaha I also love salt but I'm more of a sugar addict
I was honestly deciding an artistic nickname (also as an excuse to change my name because i'm a trans boy) and I stared looking for names that sounded good, so I decided for Sami, a finnish name that means flamboyant , and after it I added Luu, which means "light" on the demonic and angelic languages of my comic, so it means something like "bright extravagance", and I think it defines me well :joy::joy:
