What is the WORST movie you've ever seen?

I actually am a big fan of movies so bad they are good like The Room and Sharknado and The Wickerman. But these are two movies I hated and had to walk out of in the middle of.

Funny because both these movies got pretty good reviews. I just thought they were both god awful.

Okay, it's not the best fantasy series out there, but it's still really good and I thoroughly enjoyed reading four long books of it, so, why, oh why, was the movie one of the biggest piles of steaming hot turd I've ever had the displeasure to witness? What a waste of a story, and acting talent now that I look at it again.

Did not see this one but honestly even the previews had nothing interesting to them. It looked so generic. I mean, of all the versions of Cinderella they could have gone with they choose the most watered down. We already have Disney's Cinderella. Let's chop off some toes to fit in a glass slipper already!

There is only one answer to this question - and that is Plutonium Baby. It's from Troma Films, which I had no experience with before my art teacher, giggling all the way, showed it to us in class.

It is the worst movie ever made. It is SO bad that the film crew quit in protest. It features a scene near the beginning where, no kidding, the titular character (whose mom apparently suffered severe radiation during her pregnancy and now he has superpowers or something? idk) bites down on a very clearly PLASTIC fish, holds it between his teeth and pretends to eat it by shaking his head back and forth for nearly a full minute. It is the worst-acted scene I have ever seen.

There are no words for how bad this movie is. It makes The Room look like a masterpiece. At least The Room is so ridiculously bad that it's funny - Plutonium Baby is just a tragically boring trainwreck. And yes, I do now realise how terrible Troma Film's productions are, but this was my first experience with them, and I think I'm still in shock.

And I say this as someone who watched Dragonball Evolution AND Dragon Wars (already mentioned in this thread) while eating popcorn and giggling.

There we go, I finally got it. Lockout, that was garbage.

Hahaha - I actually enjoyed this one! XD It's bad, but it's just bad-action-movie bad - and I find that entertaining.

I remember when this came out, my brother was super into the Eragon books so I took him to the movie. I thought it was OK. Then, since I was interested in the story I thought, "what the hell? I'll read the book."

There were a lot of parts that I would read and think to myself "Oh wow, this would be really cool if they made it into a movie...oh." After reading the book, I can't watch the movie again.

I know a lot of people dismiss The Hunger Games series, but I really enjoyed movies 2 and 3 because there were some scenes in those that were literally word-for-word the same as the books, and that's how I feel it should always be!

Sorry....Nothing that I have ever seen is worse than the Roger Corman version of The Fantastic Four. It was so bad it was never even released, but bootleg copies of it have been floating around for years. It is horrid. Badly acted, badly shot, you can do better special effects on your phone, and Dr. Doom actually spends 52 seconds (that seem to go on forever) laughing in what is supposed to be an evil way, and sounds like he's doing backup for Dr. Evil in Austin Powers.

You can't even watch it thinking that you can laugh at the badness....It's that horrible.

Nicholas Cage in RAGE. You've got Cage barely even trying to act, no budget, and a script that tries too hard to be like Tarentino or something but reads more like a bad fanfiction.

I guess what made this movie more hilariously awful for me was that it was filmed in the city where I was born and grew up, so I knew all the locations and buildings they were filming in. So it let to moments like.. he's burning a car in a spot that looks deserted on film, but I know in reality is in the center of a busy commercial district with freeway access.

I wasn't expecting a lot out of Cinderella to begin with. I mean, for god's sakes, what's even the point of doing it again? It's been done a million times. Nothing ever good comes out of rebooting a film that's already been rebooted by both Disney and many other companies over and over and over again.

Transformers: Age of Extinction. I caught a late showing after leaving a minor league baseball game early and I was so tired, I fell asleep before the previews. That was the worst 3 hours I wasted trying to stay awake.

My tastes in this may be skewed because I love bad movies and I seek them out specifically to have a good laugh.
However, I'll share what the movie I hated the most was, and I know a lot of people are going to disagree with it.
I really, really disliked Sweeney Todd. I still can't remember why I went to see it since Tim Burton's style always rubbed me the wrong way even when he was making good movies (the one big exception is Ed Wood, which I love to bits) but man, it was the first and only time I ever contemplated walking out on a movie.
I can't even articulate why I hate it, it was just a pain to sit through for me.

My bf and I got kinda mad when we were watching this movie because from a writing standpoint nothing made any sense. The plot is just ... everywhere and nowhere. By the end of the movie it still felt like nothing of any value had actually been accomplished. And don't get me wrong, I do like it when writers try to explain sci fi stuff with even a little pseudo science (It's better than "It's just magic") but it still needs to operate on some kind of logic. Also the human girl and alien wear thongs on the outside of their suits. I'd want to think it's for sex appeal but it's just... stupid funny.

I'll go with a classic here...the only good thing about this is the infamously hilarious Mr. Plinkett critiques. I have never been so let down by a movie, I used to be obsessed with SW as a kid and then they serve me this digested ectoplasm. I'm still bitter.

Bonus #1 for the worst I've seen this last semester...what drugs were the scriptwriters on??? Who greenlit this? How annoying singing can get? So many questions but I turned it off after half an hour fearing my IQ level would suffer irreparable damage.

Bonus #2 for "a-movie-everyone-loves-but-I-hate-so-frigging-much". I can't really explain my insane levels of hate for this movie apart from thinking the main character was dumb and annoying as hell and I wanting to kick her off the Eiffel Tower.

What's funny is, I thought Her had some brilliant ideas about machines beneath it's surface...but instead they chose to focus on the problems of dating an OS. >__> So yeah, I also found it extremely overrated (and a HUUUGEEE missed opportunity).
