What is YOUR best feeling as a creator?

What is your best feeling when you are creating an episode or a chapter?

For me, it is when I overcome my ADHD and finish an episode. It is literal euphoria like, yay!!

SAME. I have an overwhelming sense of accomplishment getting a page done. I also get a huge sense of glee when I finish lining and inking a page. I don't know what it is about detailed lineart, but I am a huge sucker for it, lol.

For me, it's a toss up between completing a chapter and also during the planning stages, when I get an 'aha!' moment! The kind of moment when I've just figured out a plot point that I was previously stuck at! It's like a breakthrough, haha! A great feeling for sure!

I work on a team (artist) and my favorite thing is when my husband/writer comes over to check my thumbnails or check the finished episode and he gets a smile sometimes like it's really fun to see how I interpreted the script or made the characters look lively . I love hitting the post button too.

When a page initially isn't working out for some reason at the sketch phase, and I redo it and get a genuinely better result. Feels SO GOOD when things click. Especially if I took a risk or made a bigger change in the flow of the pages. Very satisfying and successful feeling. =)

Completing the line art (so a finished but uncolored page) is generally also very satisfying.

When I find a way to make something look noticeably better with very little effort. Like, I realized a few months ago that the dirt trails and paths in my backgrounds look weirdly so much better with a few scribbles from a sienna brown fineliner I've got. For whatever reason, it takes the dirt ground from 'okay, that's fine' to 'oh, wow, yeah, that looks like flat soil'. And all it took was 30 seconds with one pen. WIN.

Having a scene I’ve been wanting to execute in my head for months finally playing out for people to see is always so great to me. The behind the scene process of thought to outline to script to actually even making the page itself is a long process so actually getting that point in the story for people is so gratifying. It’s like a reward in of itself

Similar to the above, finishing something new always makes me feel really good. It's a wonderful release to polish up fresh content whether it's art, writing, music, etc! (Especially because I can be slow. I don't like to rush my work!)

Some of my favourite feelings are, when it get a clear idea for the execution of a key scene, the reader's reaction to it, when they get motivated and excited over an update, and the feel of a productive day.....

What is your best feeling when you are creating an episode or a chapter?

It's when I get flashes of ideas whenever I write a chapter. "Aha this idea is for the part when my MC finally kills someone" "This concept goes to the structure of an academy." "This is perfect for what the second monster looks like." I also pertain to the moments where I feel that I can predict my MC or my world's future.

I'm a writer, and every chapter is like a puzzle to me. The plot points, dialogue, descriptions are like scattered puzzle pieces at first. They all come together when I finish a chapter, and it's a great feeling of accomplishment. It's nice to feel proud of yourself for something!

When I'm agonizing over something isn't quite working with my writing, and then I get an idea for a new angle that makes it work, and sometimes becomes the high point of the chapter.

Getting sleep, man! When I can sleep without overthinking things I did wrong in the chapter, panel, dialogue, image, etc. I know I did it right

Feeling like every new chapter has a little chance of maybe grabbing a reader, even if it's not likely to happen. It makes me feel hopeful and scared at the same time.
