My comic, Hanato, is kinda similar to (and inspired by) two stories

First one is Invincible
They're both superhero stories that can get pretty dark and gory.

Second one is Akira
Some sci-fi elements and designs were actually inspired by this movie and manga series

Apparently, Invader Zim, since everyone seems to make connections to it.

Though if I had to pick one, I'd say it's most similar to South Park, since they are both satires which star kids as the main characters. Albeit, considerably older kids.

Someone once said my comic's story reminds him My Little Pony. I wasn't think they are alike at first. But after reading a few times I feel that my comic is like a more serious version of MLP.

I don't know, my comic is a bit weird hahahaha the most similar thing I've seen is the otome game Obey Me! but basically because they interpretate the same demons and it also happens in a glamourous looking hell

the backgrounds are kind of similar too

the story and characters are very different but the art concept has it's similarities, probably for the dark-rococó demons aesthetics

The story as a whole is similar to Rosario Vampire in the world setting and building but my story has a much grimmer feel

Thanks, Bob. My novel, The Faerie Dusters is kinda like Avatar in that the faerie characters are so colorful. I've often thought my MC, Zamani, is a sort of mix: a little Peter Pan and a Little Tarzan.

The Space Bum, seems to me, something like Treasure Island, four guys kickin' the adventure.

I don't know what to say about the other two; you tell me.

There's actualu quite a few things that my story has been inspired by and is similar to. I think tow of the closes comparisons would be:
Ghost in the Shell:

for the sci-fi/ cyberpunk elements and the later focus on one of the central character's, an Android named K, trying to find his own identity separate from his predecessor's and his duties' as a simple machine.

and

Detroit Become Human:

less for the sci-fi elements and more for the focus of A.I./ machines developing consciousness, self-identity, and ultimately free will and the desire to live as their own unique individuals instead of us mindless metal puppets charged with serving humans.

"Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf" tone wise, it was also a big inspiration. I have also heard part one (of potentially three) described as being structured like Cats *(the stage musical, not the god awful movie) and I laughed at how accurate it was. Also just similar to anything with a "bottle" set up.

Multiple people have compared it to Avatar the Last Air Bender, and I can see why. In additionn to that, it has the vibe of the Earthsea book series, and some of the more action/adventurer Ghibli movies (i.e Nausicaa, Princess Mononoke).

If I had to compare it to an Anime I would say fullmetal Alchemist due to the Older Brother devotion to his younger brother. Where Edward Elric would go far and beyond for his younger Brother Alphanse Elric. As my Character Xepholen is in the same category of devotion to his younger brother, Zalken.

I like to think my comic is similar to JoJo's Bizarre Adventure, mostly in art. Obviously, my art isn't quite as stunning as Araki's (yet) but he's a great inspiration to me. Also, JoJo has this very distinct weirdness to it that I feel very comfortable using in my own writing. It's like at any moment anything can happen. The characters all have their strange personalities that make them all completely unpredictable but in the best way possible. Idk it's just that kinda thing that's really cool to see and really fun to write

Also, in terms of story (and forgive me if this sounds at all arrogant), I like to think it's similar to Berserk and Hunter x Hunter. These two because I really want to get deep into the psychology of my characters, setting them up early on and unraveling them as I go on (like HxH), and I'm also trying to tell a story that's very human (like Berserk)

I've also had people say it's similar to Spider-man, who is probably one of my favorite fictional character of all time, so I take that as a compliment :3

It is a coincidence but people have been joking that my story is similar to Good Omens.

My story takes place in a city on Earth, where Angels and Demons live among Humans, either to help them or cause mischief. My main character Mikhail is an Angel, relatively on the chubby side, who could do without Heaven's insane expectations of being all virtuous and flawless, the man would rather just chill and maybe cook. He is a bit similar to Aziraphale in that sense of prefering life among humans and human food and not being too into the whole war against Demons thing.

And well, Mikhail has a roommate/love interest on Earth called Stefan. He doesn't have much in common with Crowley but he IS a redhead like in the show haha. I guess he has more of a short temper than Mikhail though (Mikhail being an Angel of Patience is almost unable to feel anger).

It is also a happy story with lots of jokes and funny situations, love and not too much drama.

Bloody Brick road is the childhood creepiness of Return to Oz mixed with its fantastic yet horrifying magic system and results. Things come to life in twisted ways only this time without the lens of childhood innocence. Its Hellraiser level body horror replacing whimsical robots and scarecrows. Speaking of Hellraiser, Dorothy, the protagonists, greatly resembles Kirsty Cotton, the survivor of the original Hellraiser movie. Both are exposed to horrific power and instead of being typical final girls, descend further into madness or despair. They accept the power they receive and try to make the best choices possible with it at the cost of their humanity.

I created Lady Sylvia's Studio because I didn't see the type of relationship in my favorite girl in another world romance comics/novels: monster romances. That being said the conversations of consent, autonomy outside the relationship, and presence of strong female protagonists who know what they want (monsters!) are similar to some of my favorite couples. Such as Swamp Thing and Abby Arcane (original comic run), Goliath and Elisa from Gargoyles, and the gift to the world that was The Shape of Water (I cried in the theater, thank you Guillermo del Toro for telling the story no one else had the courage to.)
