What is your comic soundtrack like?

I was just wondering cause I know when drawing both Doomie and In the Days moonlight I listen to different types of music especially when drawing certain scenes?

I used a song from Clannad for my first chapter page though I don't think many people listen to the soundtrack if episodes are separated like pages.

I mainly want to stick Handel for my webcomic, Cap'N Death, Realm of Death. Eventually I might do more classical and electronic music, since I think it would fit the comic well with what I'm doing.

Stereoaddictions Is the name of the comic. Characters have each their own personal tastes in music. Each episode has its own song (first few are kind of introductory) and listening is elemental to understand the situation. Kind of like a mix of a comic and a music video.

Main four characters like: heavy metal, poetic rock, techno and videogames soundtracks. later characters are yet to come (some of them already are in my Deviantart site, tho)

For Hazy Daze, I tend to listen to a lot of yellowcard and marrianas trench. pop/rock power ballads for writing about angsty teens.

I think it counts as its soundtrack since a number of songs are themes for the characters.

While I work I listen to whatever I'm in the mood for, or just use TV as a background noise. That's why enjoy working at cafés. I do list and re-listen certain musics that I find to have a link with my comic.

But for readers I try to find musics that go with the mood/feeling of the chapter. For instance for the first chapter of my comic Somewhere in the Rain I used Lindsey Stirling's Shadows music. I want the music to create a mood flow with the visuals and narrative of the comic. I guess I do it it backwards!

Well,I think the program of the music is the great creative in the webcomic's word.So I also enjoy to find music with my comic.Re-agree/Indenture Of Apostles

You can see that , I use music to distinguish each tittle. I believe that doing so allows the reader more addicted to the story, like watching the cartoons.
I use music taken from the cartoon or games.

For the first letter of The Penguins of Doom, I would put "Pompeii" by Bastille in the soundtrack. Every time I hear it, I have to wonder what the lead singer did to make his backup guys call him an "a-hole" over and over again all through the song, just like I'm wondering what the assistant principal did to make Septina write that letter to him.

For the interlude that follows (not published to Tapastic yet, but soon), I have had "Burn" by Ellie Goulding in my head. You'll see why. Cuz we're gonna let it burn, burn, burn, burn...

For the second letter, you'll want to be listening to "Can't Buy Me Love" by the Beatles.

I listen to whatever when I draw my comic, Tigress Queen ( http://tapastic.com/series/Tigress-Queen ), but I listen to the Attack On Titan soundtrack in my car to really think about it. In my mind, those instrumental tracks are more fitting than anything else.

When I'm working on Panic Mode, I pop on Spotify and either use my "liked from radio/starred" lists or I listen to radios based on Modest Mouse, The Flaming Lips or The Strokes, among other things.

I got a new PC in January/February and I never actually brought over any of my music due to laziness and not wanting to wait for who knows how many gigabytes of data to transfer. So I have it on a hard drive (somewhere) and utilize internet radio.

But when I was younger I had LOTS of action comics. I would pick music that I thought would fit it perfectly. It was mostly Naruto and Sonic the Hedgehog Tracks everytime though. LOL

The entire series of Errant Apprentice is based on music! A lot of it is irish folk music like Mo Ghile Mear, but a lot of Sting and XTC went into it as well. I'm actually going to start using QR codes on pages and link them to songs on soundcloud on my regular site so people can get the soundtrack I had in mind. Any thoughts on that?
