What is your favourite gerne (for comics/manga ofc)?

Hmm, I read a bit of everything. But scifi and comedy is what I am most likely to really fall for.
I like superheroes a lot as well ^^

It is funny because when it comes to making my own comic I usually go for fantasy instead of sci fi. https://tapastic.com/series/magicadvisor I like to read fantasy as well though. But it is not my favourite genre for reading.... Don't know what that is about haha XD

action/fantasy/adventure are the most common genre i read so far in my life. i don't read a lot of sci-fi.

maybe cuz fantasy is so familiar that it's easier to write and not as fun while sci-fi is trickier to write thus making it more exciting to read? since genres have their own tropes and clichés.

I read mostly in the speculative fiction genres - scifi, fantasy, magical realism, etc., - but I will try anything! If it's good, it doesn't matter what genre it's in. I'll read comics-as-journalism (I really recommend the work of Guy Delisle and Joe Sacco), I'll read autobiographical stuff, I'll read slice of life, I'll read mystery, etc.

The only genre I'm hesitant about is outright horror, but that's mostly because I'm a big ol' scaredy cat and it gives me nightmares.

I guess I like comedies but more like situational comedies where the comedy comes from the interaction between characters, I'm not too crazy about gag-a-days unless the characters are somewhat developed. I do also like drama (non-romance) which also focus around interacting between characters.

Though most of the stories I write get pretty fantastical and weird, my favourite comics are usually down-to-earth biographical ones. I'm fascinated by stories of other people's lives and reading about their struggles, whether the characters are real or fictional. I'm also really into horror and psychological genres.

I think I read mostly what would be described as fantasy and such, but I'd say I like comics and anime that take a classic concept and put it in a relateable setting. Stuff like Soul Eater and Scott Pilgrim who aren't afraid of letting modern quirks populate their made up worlds. I like the stuff where comedy is more about the context and characters rather than coming up with jokes.
