There's a certain charm in the 'monster of the week', 'get up go to school save the world', 'Queen Beryl just turned someone else into a monster' genre to me. I kind of like the concept of just sometimes the hero is the hero and the villain is the villain, with no ifs or buts or eyebrow wiggle/elbow bump irony in it's presentation. It's just kind of nice the simplicity onece in a while.
That, and some stupid cartoons, like Uncle Grandpa. Sometimes I just need to turn my brain off and enjoy some slapstick silliness.
