In my comic, DECEPTION, there are 3 universes with different laws of physics.

-Neververse depends on electromagnetic fields for gravity, it is just a noise of rocks splattered around with a lack of temperature control

-Middleverse is like our universe IRL but travel is the easiest because the fabric is very moldable

-Angelverse has mass seas of energy with huge quartz crystals and pillars which are molded into houses and platforms

Also a shameful advertisement, yeah, my comic.

I... don't know? I guess just univese... With regular physics and stuff... but also magic shit

Mine is called the Needlepoint Universe. It is woven and unraveled anew by its caretaker the Intrepid Soul, making sure the cycle of its existence is completed before it begins anew, with new chances and lives.

The laws of physics are pretty much the same as ours, however the barriers between timestreams is a little weaker. It let's you see and experience atemporal connections.

For my comics, it’s something collectively called the Amazement Multiverse. There are 50 universes that are a direct variation of the mainstream universe. Some universes are like dystopian futures, some are alternate dimensions filled with disgusting versions of the main characters, etc. pretty much the Rick and Morty of the multiverse.

Multiverse in a scientific sense, I guess? There's a load of universes with vastly different laws of physics, most of which don't even allow for baryonic matter to form in them, but only some guys from the very prehistory of the setting (think billions of years) managed to escape our own universe, so for all intents and purposes, there isn't really anything multiversal about my setting.

The norse-style 9 world's, which are more akin to multiple dimensions.... There's only one universe though.

That's pretty cool and well thought out! I subscribed and hopefully ill get to read it later when I'm not busy

My project is pretty much a crossover story which goes very well with a multiverse system.

The story's basic concept relies on other worlds existing out there and each world gets counted as an individual "Sector", which are all connected and co-exist mostly unaware of each other. Each world, of course, has their own set of rules and societies & cultures and the characters travel through them, but later face heavy concequences after they meddle with them a bit, because the big thing that is happening is that the worlds are slowly merging, opening permanent "Gates" up in specific places - which makes travelling easier, but, for example, lets a magic monster appear in a world where magic doesn't exist.
It's explained in the first chapter (episode 3) already, but gets juicier once I get past the whole first arc, which will take some time though :sweat_02:

I think the multiverse stuff makes crossover stories more interesting, because you can make characters react to things that are normal in one universe, but, as I just explained, don't exist in the other. And the possibilities for that are kinda endless :smile_01:

It'd probably be somewhere around what you refer to as a middleverse. It's in our universe, but travel between planets and star systems is quick

My story has a spherical universe, which extends from one central nexus called the Leyspring, from which all the magic of the Leystream flows. The galaxies and planets closer to the Leyspring are richer in magic, while those further away tend to have less, and rely on conventional forms of technology.

This isn't evenly distributed; the Leystream may flow thinly in some areas, and richly in others, like any river. The Thuliv Cluster, where my current comic is set, is a region where the Leystream is thin, and so magic is rarer, even among species like Elves. (Who are typically all mages in regions closer to the Leyspring.)
