Simply put, what makes your comic great, why should people read it? I see so many posts just saying the description of the series or the standard "episode 6 out now!" but I need that hook y'know!
So talk about your comic, what you love about it and why the viewers will love it too.

So my comic is called DROSERA OVERGROWN, it's a superhero comic that's very story and character driven, I was inspired by series like My Hero or JJBA, and Marvel comics, like the often overlook X-Statix. I spend the better part of two years writing and storyboarding out my story and I'm really proud. It has so many fun characters that I know are around the corner to write. Hell, even rereading my old script, there's a ton of jokes I forgot I thought were hilarious. I'm super excited to show it off, it's got action, it's got heart and it's got a lot of humor. If you think that's interesting, check it out! I have a lot of twists and turns I know avid readers will love.

It's a call back to the 80s cartoons except it is geared for adults. It has all of the fun elements that He-Man had, but it has a deep story like Star Wars. If you love stories with lots of twists and suspense, Psychoborg is definitely for you.

My comic is has unique and fleshed out characters and is extremely character driven. Each character is easy to distinguish from another, as well as each location. I always try to draw fun, interesting poses and expressions.
I have created an entirely new urban world with it's own cultures, languages, politics, etc that are relevant to the story.
Whereas sometimes my drawings are a bit rough, my scripts are very well thought-out.
My comic uses colourful pastel shades, the panels are spaced not too close or far apart, and the text is large and easy to read.

It's a story about music and idols, but it's mainly about the characters and how they interact with each other and the world around them. There's also a bit of a mystery element in it. >: )

I would say the normal side of life compared to the supernatural part and the main character dealing with it. It's a dialogue driven storyline with some action scenes sprinkled in to move it along. The art style is animation with cell colored to keep it simple. And it's weekly.

Other's might find other things fun but here's my take:

It started as a videogame idea where the player was the carrier of a virus that turned people into monsters by simply standing 30ft away. At the same time, the player developed symptoms that allowed him to control states of matter. The player's goal was to rescue survivors from the already infected without infecting them too.

As a comic, based on the above, it brings a unique action-horror experience where the MCs (two brothers) are a walking nightmare with little control in their own actions, yet the presence of unusual abilities also provide something superhero/Shonen.

The brothers are new to 'their condition', and just like the reader are also discovering the 'Hell' they've unwillingly unleashed. Owen (lil bro) provides easy shoes for the reader to step into, while Evan (big bro) breaks the rigid routine and keeps you entertained with his spontaneous antics!
The sibling kinship also provides warmth.

Nothing is obvious as you step into this world. Characters and environments are layered and immersive, as they bait or mislead you with clues or tricks.

The action is wild and fast paced! While the horror aspect is maintained, sometimes you'll feel like you're in a RPG fantasy setting against a titan sized infected, or a Superhero Showdown when crossing paths with others 'like yourself'.

My comic is a action thriller/crime fiction, we follow the journey of a farmer in a small town plagued with a lot of crime, as he uncovers some treacherous dealing of a criminal syndicate causing mayhem and bone chilling atrocities in the town. Think the movie Seven and Lost girls but set in Nigeria.

You are in for an amazing ride, and my goal is to bring great storytelling and character development, with good art that would be worth your time. Please do check it out. Thank you!

Hello!! Here's my work, Chasing Grief. It's a story in poetry form. It's about a woman who lost her love and is trying to navigate her feelings of loss, grief, and despair by going through life, death, and in between for answers to all her questions. Maybe in the end, too, she gets to reconcile with her hear :)) The fun or interesting part of my story is the abundance of imagery, feelings, and emotions. The description focuses more on how to make people feel what she's feeling or how they should feel in a certain chapter, rather than the physical aspects of her world. I hope you look into it and give it some support!! <3

Hey. Loving all these comics so far.

Mine follows forest animals who all have flaws that cause them to leave behind their families and live alone.

The style is cartoony akin to classic Warner Bros and the humour is chock full of innuendo and heart.
Simple sketches thanks to my background in character animation.
Only three episodes so far and the first chapter is rough but the art gets better.

I don't normally like to toot my own horn, but....here goes.

Punchbunny! for me is fun because of its energy and personality. I try to give every character who speaks something that will make them stick in your brain even if you last saw them months ago. The jokes come rapid fire as does the action, things barely stop moving. The style is more cartoony and would best be described as Powerpuff Girls and Kids Next Door crossed with cute bunnies. All of my characters have distinct color sets as well as silhouettes and powers and if I can take you back to the feeling of being a kid on Saturday morning watching cartoons, I did my job.
Goodtime Valley used to be a peaceful land for bunnies to play and laugh, but the evil wolf Big Mad has completely ruined everything!

Lowly farmbunny, Orion Smackwell, has made it his mission to defeat Big Mad and bring peace back to the Valley.

Join him and his ever increasing roster of friends as they solve all their problems with their fists.

And in case you're wondering what it's about:

My comic contains a real life issue which makes it more sad then anything else although it does have elements of comedy which I suppose does make it fun.

A young Cowfish named Chips journey in learning about the endangered species he shares an ocean with and plastic pollution.

Sounds interesting! I subscribed! Feel free to have a look at my comic, the link is in my reply to this thread!

Niji Chikara is a magical girl/superhero story that balances comedy and drama. It has some psychological themes, as our heroes must come to terms with the fact that not every problem has a perfect solution.

The cast is pretty diverse, with characters coming from several different walks of life. If you like relatable villains, this might be up your alley.

(I am slowly figuring out how to describe this comic, lol)

What makes Trespasser fun you ask? Well aside from looking great, its main characters, Kyara, Zack and Blip, are a set of lovable goofballs that go on exciting adventures! It has thrilling action that has you reading at the edge of your seat, contrasted by a character driven story that'll make you laugh, cry and wonder what will happen next.

So click that link bellow  and join in on the fun!

my comic contains a lot of my favorite plot elements, like plot twists, foreshadowing that takes a reread to notice, and mystery! lots of mysteries. also, cute but controversial & morally gray characters; color-coded speech bubbles

in the future (waaaaay future) maybe this can turn into a historical fiction + spy thriller. maybe! but its just a cozy town mysteries for now

Hello there !

My comic has a fairly quirky tone and deals with serious subjects such as death and grief.

The characters all follow a very specific arc and evolve greatly over the course of the story.

If you like bold reinventions of well-known mythological characters, such as Alucard in Hellsing or Bigby Wolf in Fables, "Bare Bones" could really appeal to you.

I just have added a new episode today !

Have a great day !
