Just finished watching The Mauritanian. Great movie based on a true story.
Trying not to let the character in this movie influence my own work, but he's so compelling.
I watched "Love & monsters" yesterday and have 20 minutes left to watch, I loved it. I also watched "The intern" with Robert de Niro and I couldn´t even finish the moviebecause I disliked it so much
Watched Fox and the Hound.Been yonks since I've seen it.Was bummed out afterwards.Appreciate the strong message about discrimination and the demands of conformity.Kids are put upon with the issues of Adults.
This scene is beautifully animated.
One of my favorite Disney classic! No one can watch it without crying!
RAYA AND THE LAST DRAGON I enjoyed this overall when watching in a casual, non-critical mood, the ending is really warming. And so many relatable cultural references. Shrimps! That's a very south-east asian thing to include!
Yeahhhh even I wouldnt touch that movie(The Intern)...
Two distant Strangers on Netflix,
A brilliant short movie that addresses racism and discrimination in U.S's police force
watching...
watchin...
last movie I watched was Unhinged(2021) with Russell Crowe...it was okay.
A film so edgy that it wouldn't be made today!
The first film I went to see at the Cinema all by myself at the tender age of 10 (bought my own ticket and everything)
Stumbled upon this clip on YT and I decided to watch the whole film
cough Zack Synder's Justice League again...
Re-watched Rogue One last night after watching the new Star Wars animated show The Bad Batch.
It was barely able to get made even in the 80s. There was controversy when the film came out due to it's dark subject matter and some people didn't like that the protagonist was openly jewish and others thought it trivialized the struggles Jewish-Americans faced. I think the film was able to get made due to Steven Spielberg helped back the project, and stories he heard from his grandfather helped inspire the script.
Watching a good old horror movie called Possession
