I'm gonna be watching a Quiet place 2 in a few hours, I'll quote with my reaction

I watched Mindfully Murder which was surprinsgly good for a german movie.
I feel ashamed most of the time when I watch german movies and for a long
time I thought we were only good at making movies about the 2nd world war.
I recommend watching it, there is a dubbed version on Netflix.

Then I watched Sisu which felt like watching Nazi Rambo Mad Max. I´m not sure
if I can recommend it

I saw "The hunt" on Netflix.
The story could have been okay but the resolution of the
story really sucked and it´s overall a trashy movie.
I can´t imagine the writer thinking that this was the most brilliant
idea he can come up with

I recently watched The Substance. It’s a scifi dark comedy horror. It’s pretty interesting and has great cinematography, set design, and makeup. Definitely worth checking out.

This movie is so bizarre. I guess I give it some credit for not being another generic CG film.

I will watch Ferry 2 today, it´s a belgo-dutch drug crime movie, I recommend watching the series and the movie

It was shown on limited cinemas here in uk. I think Fandango has it for streaming. Its due for a physical release next year,
The director has a youtube channel also.

wow didn't expect the stylized realism, thought it was more cartoonic.

The whole Ferry series is very european and feels more real to me compared to scarface.
The only things which they have in common are the violence, crime and drug theme.
I think it´s a very good series to check out

The animals move like actual animals for the most part and only make animal noises. They use the way each of the animals move to give them individual personalities and their performance.
Backgrounds are kind of photo realistic but the animals have a painterly look.
The american trailer make the film look like its a funny goofy thing which is nothing like the film at all. Trailer is awful imo
There is humour but the film is more spiritual and meditative.
