I'm glad that James Gunn is in charge of the DC Universe. Dude is already working hard on the plan and already teased films revolving around Lobo and Mister Terrific. The latter I don't even know but I'm happy that DC will be focusing on characters people aren't aware of. Probably the only good thing to come out of the Warner Bros. merger.
I just hope all the movies feel different from one another. So far it seems like we're getting exactly that what with Black Adam, Shazam, and The Suicide Squad feeling like three completely different movies. I'm also hoping that gives Marvel more motivation to change-up their formula? People say they're trying to be different but that damn humor is dragging the universe down imo. Like Shang-Chi or Eternals... I don't understand why people called those movies "breaths of fresh air", the humor dragged it down for me (whenever it popped up). Also also, I'm REALLY hoping DC movies feel more self-contained. Shazam and The Suicide Squad did not feel like they were setting-up stuff.
