What pose do you draw the most in your comic?

What poses do you draw the most?
I studied some of my favourite euro comics and most of the characters are
standing around or walking and sometimes running but that´s it.
All the other poses are really rare.

What are you drawing the most?

-do you draw from memory or with reference
-what´s a pose which is difficult for you to draw

I mainly draw my characters standing. Most of the time in profile. I draw from memory on paper and then draw it digitally over that. But wait wouldn’t that mean I use both? I love drawing cartoony people. Mini humans.

Hmm… probably walking because the characters have walk everywhere.

Otherwise, I like to experiment with poses and different angles and perspectives - just to keep it interesting for myself.

most difficult pose is probably casual standing, especially from a high/low perspective. I actually think action poses are easier to draw since you can exaggerate and change things and itll generally make sense.

I draw them from memory. They look okay from a non-realistic cartoony/manga artstyle.

Sitting and walking for sure, my characters are talking a lot, either by a cup of tea or while going somewhere. I try to switch the perspective up, zoom in / out etc to make it less repetitive, but yeah, still the poses I draw the most.

And to be more exact, I think one I draw THE most is sitting / standing but with this hands gesture:

As for 'what´s a pose which is difficult for you to draw' question, for me it's fighting poses! First it's difficult to make some kind of a choreography for a fight, then drawing it down while still being able to show movement! I have to admit, I still have to practise that a lot This page and the whole fighting scene that comes afterwards was a hell to draw for me:

Since I'm using 3D software to make the panels, I think I have more flexibility in posing. Having that said, I still like doing quarter side face and side faces though, because most of the time the scenes revolve around characters chatting with each other.
