Eyes.
Eyes haunt me.
Mind you, I figured out it was the sketching and building of face structure perspective that was messing me up.
Once I started using 3d models to help me with perspective, the issue is pretty much gone.

I think details are easy to manage and just a question of taking the time to learn how to do it,
eyes, nose, ears, hair etc. You can theoretically be a complete beginner to learn how to draw
the details.
Drawing the construction / head in different angles is tough because you first have to understand
perspective and be so good at it that you don´t have to think about it anymore and that´s something
a beginner would not be able to learn. Learning how to draw an eye doesn´t take longer than
one week, learning how to place that eye in all angles takes a lot of time

Noses.Despite my style being inspired by anime, I don't want to make it just one small line or dot-like some anime does, so trying to do a more realistic nose, eh...it sometimes looks wrong, too long or weird.

Eyes are also a problem, but I figured, just copy and paste one eye. Then just change the position of the iris lol.

I also usually don't draw ears, they are hidden behind the hair.

Have some trouble with the jawline. Mostly because i try to make it more curve/round, but sometimes it can look uncanny valley.

Honest answer: everything is hard for me.

yeah noses are difficult! It is hard to draw them realistically without making them ugly (well at least for me)

Noses noses noses. Even if eyes or ears don't come out too right, I usually know a few tricks to keep them in the acceptable line. I still feel like an amateur drawing noses consistently and at the same time good.

Also, on the face overall, drawing any seen-from-below angle. I've even brought it up with other far better artists than me and there's really no good-looking way to draw that without cheating and making the character bend down to look at the camera, the chin always ruins it otherwise.

Any part of the face except the nose- i got decently good at eyebrows and eyes when i was obsessed with Kokichi Oma because his facial expressions be like all at the same time

then i found out *danganrompa spoilers* and stopped drawing him frequently

now all my characters have same chin syndrome because that's how life works

you either have the jawline of a 65 yr old woman or a 27 yr old man

I find mouths the hardest to draw when it comes to accurately representing characters' emotions.

foreheads, its so annoying when drawing a close up focusing on eyes and you have to think about the forehead dimensions as well, i might just start making my characters eyes so huge to kill the trouble XD

I guess I kinda never really bothered learning how to draw these properly, and sadly it's showing, even just a generic open mouth is hard for me to draw, because I can't get the shape right, it just looks weird, and more often than not ruins an otherwise decent face drawing.

Other than that, hm... I find the entire jaw/neck/head underside area very tricky to draw, and have trouble visualizing it. It's not only an issue in low angle shots, either. I just struggle to understand how it works in 3D, even with reference.

To be honest, there isn't a part of the face/head I find easy to draw, but yeah, these are the worst

I love eyes but tend to spend way more time on the pupils, shadows, & highlights of them. More than one would think for the style I do my comic in.

Noses then jawlines lol. I still have a fairly anime style but one of the reasons I experiment with styles is because I don't want to draw always dots or pointy noises in the usual anime. Also that part between the nose and upper lip especially in profile GOD. It's hard to do expressions in profile because of that part and the mouth one hhh. Jawlines too I guess? I'm okay with round ones or pointy-like in anime but when I do uncommon jawlines I don't really draw (like sharp ones), I keep forgetting how to draw them again

Noses and ears. With ears I additionally struggle with their placement. Why we have something with so many weird curves on the sides of our heads?

...all of them. I can draw decent looking faces, the problem is, I can't draw well consistently. I have model sheets for my characters, but the faces are too small, so they don't help too much.

A trick for ears is if someone is looking up, the ears will appear lower. If they are looking down, the ears will appear higher.
