I did a lot of buildings, it really helps for perspective and 3D shapes...
lol hardly. If I'm woken up in the middle of the night it's because something needs doing. Try focusing on creative thoughts when you're bleary eyed, barely conscious and trying to grapple with figuring out which way the diaper goes Takes all of your mental effort
My creative goal for today is to finish another two pages of MARB. The further the story progresses, the more difficult it becomes to visualize, and most pages are dripping with blood. But at least I have the whole story in my head now and the plot is hopefully breathtaking and disturbing.
It's just all the things I have to get done that day. I made all of my goals except for one (the last one). I draw something every day anyways, so I try to make the most of it.
It's weird because I feel pressured, but at the same time not too much of a negative way, as I do know my limits, and realize it's okay to cut my losses sometimes.

As for me, today:- Get the Volvox mood board & preliminary artwork done... - Edit next episode of Effy (I need to buy a better scanner, getting black balance right for digital pages is taking me ages)

The working title of my NaNoWriMo project is Fyberpunk.
It’s like a collage of inspirations. It’s mainly used in fashion, but I generally use that to make sure project owners and I are aligned before I start the actual artwork on bigger projects. It’s quite useful to narrow down what they’re expecting / not want. In this case it’s for an album booklet, but I’m getting so late that I’ll just send them drafts directly.
Fyberpunk, if it’s not a typo I’m curious...
Finish the shadings of the 2 landscape pages. Gotta make it beautiful.
lineart and base colors for a chibi commission but honestly any art done today is progress even if it's a messy sketch

My goal is to stay sane until my toddler’s school reopens on Monday, then I can actually get back to my comic. 🤣
I am managing to do some quick sketches, but mostly playing Ghostbusters or making pillow forts currently.
My goal today would be... one chapter. And some decent sleeping hour.
