What should I do when an image will not load?

I'm currently reading a tapas comic on desktop (Gimme that Pacifier!) and occasionally one of the comic images won't load, there's just a blank space with a 'tapas' text in the middle.

*I tried reloading the page. This did not work.
*I tried right-clicking to open the image in a new window. This was not allowed, for reasons.
*I opened developer tools, manually scrolled down to the img tag, copy-pasted the url and opened the image in a new window. This did work, but took way too much time.

So, what is the recommended way of triggering an image reload? I assume there's some way of doing it that seasoned Tapas readers have found by now.

So far, I've learned that if I leave the tab alone and do something else for five minutes, the "image corrupt or truncated" error will eventually trigger an automatic reload. Still takes way too much time, but at least it's less work.

Sometimes the endless scrolling can cause lag and some images won’t load on the next page. You could try going to the main page of the series and selecting the page.
