So I recently started listening to Kyiie Minogue's old music and a couple of songs remind me of my characters.
This song plays in my head when I think how my character Annabelle develops feelings for another character.

The song lyrics is not the type that is easily understood and can open to many interpretation. However, many of the parts resemble/connected to my story and its main character in general, especially the title itself (キメラ/Chimera) although it is kind of a spoiler.

Well, obviously one of them is the song the entire season "The Dreaming Tree Saga" is named after.
And the other is a bit of a Mallory-specific tune. Again, Dave Matthews, as his and his band's work are a theme for the series.
I actually have a whole playlist for my comic.
For my characters. I feel like 'Who You Are' by Jessie J represents my MC, Julian the best. 'This is Me' from 'The Greatest Showman' also fits.
For my other MC, Apollo, I like 'Time to Pretend' by MGMT.
My main characters are a bit childlike (as seen in episodes 2 and 4 of my webcomic strips), so I think this song suits them.
I just introduced 2 supporting characters in the 6th episode and I have yet to introduce the other ones. They also have childlike qualities, so this song suits them.
I think this song and video best describe my current novel.
For my short story anthology, definitely something from the Love, Death, Robots anthology.
And for my romance novel, a song from the movie that inspired it.
Okay that's kinda complicated, mostly due to what I plan.But for things like the friendship between my cast I think an extremely cherry music beat would be adequate. I makes feel cheerful when I hear it.
However for darker mystery and what I want to build up to. The tone of this would be very fitting.

Damn that's the song we had to sing for my high school graduation.
Maybe it's restricted to certain countries? It works fine on my side. But it's basically the Mr. Sandman song.

We didn't get to choose one for our high school graduation. I think it was our teacher who chose it or one of my classmates.
Don't tell me you know this song because it used to be your graduation song, too.
I believe my classmates handed in a bunch of suggestions and that song won via unanimous approval by everyone. Too bad I can only sing in monotone so I just lip-sync during the performance.
