What sort of sweet things would your OCs do for their sweethearts? (but sfw)

Cooking together. Seems to be a theme in all of my books. Sana of "Lyra's Magnum Opus" in particular likes to bake for others. He found out his husband's favorite cookie is a Chinese sesame cookie, so his goal is to make this a lot.

i've never tried this before, but it sounds interesting. I love sesame, I made a cake out of it once (we call it ajonjoli in my country)

I don't know if I have any couples who cook together as a thing yet...hmmm

I've got a specific scene in mind for this one. Some extra context: The ML(Nori) was away for two years in a war with no leave or breaks so they hadn't actually seen or communicated with each other for the past two years.
Chapter 15:
“These are all letters I wrote to you while I was gone, except for the most recent one.” Nori said quickly. Burying his face in his pillow, he didn't even wait for her response before quietly saying, “Don't laugh at me.”
Placing a hand on his back, with tears in her eyes, she said, “I could never laugh at you for something this lovely. Thank you.”
Hearing the emotion in her voice, he immediately sat up and pulled her into his arms. “I wasn't trying to make you cry.”

Same lol. I've got so many more sweet scenes planned for "Damsel in the Red Dress" and for "Rigamarole," and that's not even romance. Made me stop and realize that sweethearts can mean more than just a romantic partner in the end.

Btw, did you see my question about your FL's (Alice's,) hair texture? I wanted to try my hand at drawing her, but you didn't mention it in the thread where you described her XD

I didn't even get the notification. But I imagine that her hair is typically very curly in ringlets. If you draw her I'd love to see it! Will you post her on your instagram?

Yeah, I'd post it on my IG. so curly because of the ringlets because she styled it that way? (something like an anime princess) or like her natural hair texture is coils? (I ask cuz they look a bit different, one being more like a spring, and the other more like a ribbon dancers ribbon)

That is true, I think I picture her natural hair texture being ringlets, although with the weight of her hair, they'd be concentrated primarily at the bottom with the curls at the top being looser due to the weight pulling them down, if that makes sense.
So short answer kind of like a spring at the bottom but a ribbon dancer's ribbon for the rest.
They do definitely look different, but also different hair weight and textures also play into it, along with humidity, products and pretty much everything else So honestly as long as it's curly I'm not the type of person to nitpick on details. I have curly hair that looks different depending on the weather, styling and the length

Same lol. My hair looks tighter the shorter it is, but it's sort of like lots of consecutive "s" shaped waves when it's longest. So I'll just try my best to make it look good lol

what sort of magic system is in their world?

It's a bit more of an elemental system as the basic magic part. Although there are more than just the main four elements. In addition there are dragons. It's pretty much just a little bit of everything fantasy rolled into one
Alice herself though communicates with animals. It is a rare ability so she is unique in that regard.

that's fine lol, that's the kind of magic systems I prefer in worlds anyway. Unless it's Tolkien I don't care for creepy magic systems lol

I'm not a fan of creepy magic either, and I prefer magic systems that share the basic concepts with some twists. That way it doesn't feel like the reader is thrown into something entirely unknown, and it gives something to build off of as the story progresses

I don't mind complex magic systems, and I write some of them myself. But I don't like spooks haha

I haven't written anything spooky yet, but I think it would be fun to do a spooky short story for Halloween at some point. Not anything too scary, but just a little spooky

@HostileFren Well, I DO have some more eerie plot lines, but never horror and stuff like that. Not my thing.

Oh, but what does the male lead look like? I've not seen much description of him lol
