What tablet do you use to make your comics?

I'm starting my comic(s) this year and I'm eyeing a new tablet. At this point, I've narrowed my choices down to either a Galaxy Tab10 Ultra, Ipad Pro, or a Wacom Movink. I wanted to see what everyone else is using in case there's some others out there I'm not familiar with and wanted to see your opinions as well.

Oddly enough, I don't have a drawing tablet, so I actually draw all my comics on my nearly decade-old phone. Not exactly conventional, is it?

I use a 15-year-old Wacom Intuos 4 (medium size)
I also have an iPad Air 5, but I'm still not very comfortable drawing on it. Although Procreate's realistic brushes are truly amazing, I'm still more comfortable drawing on a PC.

If you want to draw on a mobile device, I recommend iPad (pro or Air)!

For Wacom's products, I personally think it's better to draw on a Cintiq or Intuos on a desktop. In fact, for drawing on PC, I believe the Intuos is already sufficient. It allows me to sit a bit further away from the screen XD.

I'm using a GT-191 huion tablet. I did get it secondhand halfway through drawing my comic and if, haha if, when I have to replace it I'll probably go for another screen tablet. I do have a personal tablet, a Samsung galaxy tab S6 lite that I have CSP on. Though, I don't use CSP for my comic.

I used to have an Intuos 4 - it was definitely my favorite tablet thus far. I tried the ipad in store and I'm not exactly sure I'm 100% convinced to buy it but it was fun to use. I tried the Galaxy Tab10 Ultra and was blown away - I may go that route but we'll see.

The drawing app I use is Ibis Paint X, by the way.

I made one very short comic so I guess that counts, lol. I use a Huion HS64 I got on sale for like $20, but I'm thinking of getting a screen tablet at some point, probably a Kamvas 12 or 13. I don't like Apple products and I already have a Samsung tablet (no pen pressure sensitivity) so I really only need something to draw and Huion tablets are reasonably priced.

I think that's really cool you draw on your phone! I bought procreate pocket for mine but have yet to really use it. I may buy a stylus so I can get into it more.

I've heard about ibis paint - definitely trying it as soon as I can.

I'm using Huion Kamvas 13! I wanted to find an affordable, decent-quality drawing tablet. Been using it since 2021 so I suppose it's pretty sturdy?
The size is perfect too, not too big or small. (At least for me!)

I don't make comics, but I do my own covers and just art in general and I have a screen Huion. Honestly, I love mine so much and it's held up! Its been about four years now. I got the kamva pro 12 model when it was on a really good sale.

Wacom Cintiq (plugged to Mac Mini) a powerful tool for comic creation. And a Surface to draw on the go.

I have an Ipad Pro and I can´t get used to drawing on it. I only use it for coloring now.
The pen control really isn´t good or close to the pen control I have on the xpen22e which
is my main digital drawing device right now.
I have the paperlike foil on the Ipad, tried different nibs but it´s still really hard to draw
on it.

Other people love it and maybe it´s because I´m old and only started digital drawing
10 years ago when I was already 40. But this is my pov about the Ipad

im on wacom bamboo, no screen or anything on it , just looking at my pc when i do it.
its all i have.

I use an old Wacom Cintiq 22HD, hooked up to my desktop. I doubt they're still available, maybe 2nd hand if you're lucky.

I'm hoping it'll last me another decade, because I'm not really a fan of the modern Cintiq designs (I hate that they removed the express keys on the side of the screen in their current product line. I don't want to use a remote damnit!)

Me too. I also draw on the Intuos while looking at the screen.
For me, the biggest advantage is that I can sit a bit further away from the screen.

I used a wacom intuos pro (large) for actually drawing my comic but for sketching and the panel thumbnail, I use a samsung galaxy tab s6 lite with krita as the software for both of them. Although currently the pen for my samsung is currently broken. The large wacom is nice but sometimes it is annoying because you have to move your arm more when you want to select another option.

I understand.
I've used three sizes of Intuos (L, M, S). I think the M size is the most convenient. The S size is really too small, making it difficult to draw details, but the L size is too tiring.
With the M size, I can move my wrist and reach most of the canvas positions.

Same, I mostly do covers, illustrations and concept art and my current little tablet is great! I just want a screen one so I can draw more quickly and precisely. My only concern is whether it'll connect to my cheap laptop, lol!
