What kind of font is this?
Asking for a friend (that is not me, totally not)

I've tried looking through image search and such but to no avail. I get nothing similar to the font so I thought I'd try to ask here, where I know people know this kind of awesome stuff<3

Off hand it looks like a custom font someone made.

It's very similar to the font "Anime Ace", that is the font that normally is used in a lot of professional comics. I think the lettering is been customized starting from one of the versions of "Anime Ace" ^^

But yeah, it does look like a custom font, but I know the creator only downloads her fonts.
(I would ask her, if it weren't that I'm scared of her xD)

Yeah, it's very similar, but the kerning isn't quite the same (and Anime Ace is my go to all the time, so I know it's not that xD)

I tried google searching font finders but they kinda sucked xDD

And oh man, there's so many fonts that looks like this, such as VTC Letterer Pro, Joe Mad and now this??

Honesty the "H" "W" "R" and "E" throw me off the most in to which it is which is kind of why I think it either was a pre existing font and edited, or a custom one....

I tried VTC Lettering Pro and it's the one that looks the most similar.
(I happen to be mutual with the creator so I know it's a downloaded font as she doesn't have the time to customize it or anything as she's pretty busy xD)

But I think it's also made in bold, to make the text look more sturdy.

True. Although I did find and share a neat font-making site that's pretty no-brainer to set up and do, so you never know! Especially that you can save the font as either a ttf or the other type, which allows for easier scaling up/down and anti-aliasing.

inappropriately strokes this website I just found that makes fonts So it gives you a template, and then after uploading, you can see how your lettersize scales to "fit" with their template. You can then adjust letter spacing, letter scaling (to theirs), and then word spacing. I've made another font before but it ended up pixelly and didn't capture the overall look I wanted. That one looks right to me, it's the only one I've seen with that very distinctive H and D with the overhanging crossbar on the left and that slightly upward tilting L. Good find!!
