What the heck? inbox?

What's going on with the Inbox thing with the GIFTS and MESSAGES tabs and the ACTIVITY relegated to 3td spot. This is super inconvenient. WTF???

I was considering making a post about this as well, it's so annoying Before you even got a nice small popup if you clicked the bell, which you then could expand to a page if you wanted. That's gone too now. I could not find anything in settings to change it either.

Yeah... 75 activity notes about the comics I am not even subbed to and never will be is... a bit too much

I saw 50 notifications and got excited before realising that it's just ads for Solo villaness married my savior buzzword buzzword wordsalad TT They've ported the main gripe I have about the app to desktop...

I always use this link when I have to check notifications related to my series on the website. That way, I can also bypass the other gift and message sections

I was so confused when I saw those 75 notifications. They make you take extra steps to see what's going on with the activity on your story. I wish there was at least a way to get the activity to show up first instead of those gifts.

I don't like the new change either it means i've got to click twice to get to my notifications. Tapas feels like it's trying to shove the app down our throats by doing this, when most people in the community don't care that much about 'My Gay best friend's roomate is a villainess'.

Anyway I have a really easy way of getting around it. Just add the Inbox itself to your favourites bar. Ironically doing it that way it's probably going to be faster for me in the long run anyway LOL xD.

I went through all of them and read them through this is going to bother me so much. Don’t give me stuff I don’t wanna read! I already have too much as a creator. Ahhhhhhhh!

It took me a bit to work it out, but for me, going onto the Messages tab and clicking "mark all as read" did it. I'd been clicking "mark all as read" on the Activity tab, which doesn't remove those.

It should probably be flagged though because if it's not immediately apparent that's what needs doing, the UX design isn't good.

Huh, yeah, I think I clicked like 5 times on it, but maybe I used Activity tab. It finally disappeared now.

I woke up to 79 notifications and I was so excited only to find out they were mostly gifts and messages. They should have a different option for creators (or anyone in general really) if they don't want to get gift/message notifications. I only really want them for things I read/made. And the popup was really convenient as well. They did the same thing for updated series.

My "mark as read" isn't working, so I'm stuck with 78 notifs.

Tapas, come on. You're all humans too. You like to check your social media on a daily basis like everyone else here. Would you like to be redirected to a bunch of adverts for media you're not following rather than your actual messages? No! Changes like this just want me to get off your site completely, jeez.

This reminds me of Twitch. I haven't logged in there for awhile, but from what I remember most notifications there are actually ads, and it is obnoxious on every platform that does it. Not a fan.
