I don't think the days matter because everyone has the app, however, the days influence how much people will be reading. You need to know your audience, if you have a younger audience chances are they will be in school before 3pm, but if you have an older audience they might get on at anytime. I usually leave my updates for Saturdays at 12pm EST, just because it's a Saturday at noon, a time everyone is mostly awake in the EST time zone and for everyone else the update would be ready for them when they wake up. So, yeah, it's like playing chess haha!

If you are updating during the week I would say update after 3pm, but on the weekend is really up to you

I usually update once a week on Tuesdays(technically Monday at midnight) coz I usually gotta get up for work at my RL gig, and I dont have time to upload then...plus if there are folks up into the wee hours of early Tuesday morning, they get first peek at the new page.

if you use the search function, you can find a bunch of topics about this. some have found optimal times, i think?

every morning when i crawl out of my pit. computer on - kettle on - coffee- update comic...... its like auto pilot

I update daily around 4pm or 5pm cuz' that is when I get out of work. Weekends, I might update a little earlier.

Tho, at one point, I am going to switch to only doing weekdays.

Tuesdays around 9:00 am. I'm not sure if its an optimal time for me, just the one I chose.

I update around 10am PST on Mondays and Fridays - Mondays are more successful in terms of views, likes and comments, while Fridays are slower and the views drop off quicker over Saturday/Sunday.

I'm still sticking to it, though, since it seems to work out just fine.

Yeah... you need to pick a specific timezone for this to apply to. I'm in CET - Central European Time, which is GMT+2. I post my stuff at 10am PST - which is 19.00 in my timezone. And there's no way for me to know which timezone my readers are in - judging from the profile info, name and time of activity for my readers, I've got people reading from all over the globe. There is no way for me to know which 3pm I should stick to.

I just go with 10am PST since Tapastic's own scheduling is pre-set to PST.

Well2. I usually schedule them around the end of the day like 11PM UTC. That way I have extra time to edit if I messed up something. It's also the start of the week. So that makes things easier.

Yeah, you definitely need to choose a time zone. I work with EST since I live in NYC so I go by that, but I do have readers from all over, so the time specific posting with maximum output is pretty difficult to pin point unless you have access to times and locations of user interaction. At the end of the day, it really comes down to chance... and frequent posting you are seen in the "Fresh" tab more often.

i just started updating twice a week too! usually around 1-ish on thursdays and saturdays cuz those days have the most views for me

But what if your not trying to compete with the mighty GRASSBLADES if i update at those time id be overly sunk. On Thursday is when some more popular one update too but we make decently i think

Well, yeah, that's true as well, but remember, comics appear by order of least to most recent update, not by popularity. You can piggy back off of the massive amount of users at the site whenever a comic uploads if that concerns you since you'll have more chances of someone checking the "Fresh" tab. Grassblades is not that popular compared to other comics on the site, so it really doesn't matter since competition is very limited on the site unless you already have 1000+ subs. Like I said, frequent posting does better results since you'll be more often in the "Fresh" tab and have more chances to be seen.

I updatet Patterns in Snow1 every day, usualy at 4 or 5 pm. I´m pretty fast doing comic pages. I always work on 4 pages at a time, so when they are finished, I have 4 days to work on the next pages. This means that despite updating everyday I can take one or two days off of working on the comik smiley
