Yes epoxy will yellow over time and so does polymer resin. This is the reason why they spray UV protection clear paint over carbon fiber hoods on cars since carbon fiber uses epoxy resin and exposure to sunlight accelerates the yellowing. In polymer resin it can be a case of too much hardener in the mix if the cast turns yellowish quickly.

Ohhhh thats a great explanation! Thank you so much for the help! I want yo make some doll eyes and the yellowish effect was worrying me.

A friend o mine recommended me to try uv acrylic glue, I would like to experiment with that one too. I only need a little clear dome for the iris of the eyes, so I don't need too much product.

I like to crochet different things like Pokeballs and animals to stuff with cotton fluff. I made key chain plush animals and characters to decorate mine and my friends key rings. I also enjoy playing video games and watching funny bad movies with my husband.

I like listening to music on YouTube, watching some random astrology YouTube videos (particularly those that deal with Vedic astrology), reading short poems, and stalking other people's comics in a good way.

No, wait.

I dunno if I should include the last part, but seriously, that one is true.

My hobbies (other than art) are gaming (mostly on switch and ps4), baking, sport, reading, kdrama watching :see_no_evil:, learining new languages and programming. But the last one is also my job, but I do it also in my free time.. so maybe it counts

I guess for me it's sports, gardening, learning languages and watching my husband playing games :grinning: I want to add sewing to this list, but we'll see

Painting!,and singing mainly,I even make my own songs (But never display them publicly, of course).

This was my first ever painting. (sorry,it sucks,i know.) ^^

(I also realized that this is still art,but whatever, i also watch my brother play video games, and play some myself; Mainly pokemon on the Nintendo switch right now)

Hello

  • I read a lot (comics and other)
  • Paint Miniatures
  • Play Destiny
  • Watch really bad movies
  • Collect Hot Wheels
  • Collect Vinyls

Yeah... I have too many hobbys :s

My non-art hobbies are homebrewing and gardening, both on hold this year because of move :frowning: Also visiting places with my therapy cat, which is also on hold because of Covid :expressionless:

Edit:
Maybe I should have added tabletop RPGs, but that's kind of a grey zone because I also use them to farm ideas for art stuff

Hey, its hard to rule out something we consider a major part of our identity or personality!

Outside of art, my hobbies are:

  • Karate. I got my black belt a few years ago!
  • Gaming. I play a lot of otome games with my friends, where we sit down once a week over discord to read them aloud together. It's super fun and a highly recommend trying it if that's your thing. I also play a LOT of tabletop roleplaying games (TTRPGs), like dungeons and dragons. This is another place a pour a lot of creative energy into.
  • Crafts. I go back and forth between crafts, but the two that I've done the most of would be glass etching and chainmaille. I really want to get into sewing though and making some cute outfits or accessories. I've also tried to make jewellry with shrink plastic, make sets of dice with resin, and painted miniatures.

Aside from working on my comic, I'm mainly finishing my studies (just two weeks more, yeah). Then, as hobbies:

  • Beer.
  • Reading (have I mentioned Gene Wolfe? Yes I have).
  • Climbing (since September; at long last, a sport that I love).
  • Piano.
  • Miniature painting (40k mainly for Kill Team, no money for big games heh).
  • Lotta videogames, most of them indie.

I love both drawing some doodles and writing ^^ (and make some covers - I usually spend years making them, but inevitably dislike the result :joy:

(OCs from my novel))

I love baking. I also love watching movies and TV shows! (Anime too) I love watching crime shows or animated movies.

I read alot, fanfics, books, manga.

I watch alot of youtube videos and anime. And I love reading about animals in my free time.

Owo, I guess art is real all I do, XD. I like talking about deep or controversial topics with my friends, and I love singing, was thinking of doing a voice-reveal here someday. I’m about to take a class on intro to Web Design, so that’s cool, and I like writing and poetry a lot!

I love to crochet and read(graphic novels to literary classics)

And I also watch a lot of movies and youtube videos

Playing Games I guess. Especially Final Fantasy, Kingdom Hearts (I will beat you one day Yozora!!!) and Tales of Games!

Not sure if making comics counts as art on this topic, so i will focus on my other interests:

1-Kenjutsu: Is kinda like Kendo, but more focussed on combat and with more weapon and stance alternatives. Currently we have online classes through instagram or zoom. I miss a lot the sparring tho.

2-Game design: either videogames or boardgames, both are entertaining to make. I also watch many videos about game design or study the proccess of some indie game developers.

3-Improv: currently i am not able to go to improv classes, but i love it. Specially playing challenges like improvising a musical number or changing the story style when the teacher plays a wistle.

4-Playing videogames: i frequently try new games to analize their mechanics, but ocasionally i get hooked on a game and play it a lot. Ironically, i dont buy games very often, because of a mix of frugality and the realization that i change games very often. This also applies to board games too.

5-Excercising: Mostly as a complement to kenjutsu and staying healthy.

6-Tv tropes: It is fun to me to analize shows and games to figure out what makes them work or fail. Sometimes i learn about tv shows, comics or games that may interest me.

  • Run!
  • Play Football (and watch it).
  • Read (although lately I've been more into audiobooks while I run, usually I leave the physical books for the vacations, have to catch-up with the latest of Daniel Silva xD).
  • Movies and TV shows of course.
  • I'm trying also to learn a new programming language related to all this big data and AI trends but arranging time for that it's just not easy. Maybe, the real reason is just I'm not really into it, but I'll continue trying.
  • My golden retriever. Considering that I've to walk her for more than one hour everyday I've to include her here. Not sure if I spend so much time drawing in the end of the week lolol but her walkings allow me to meet the neighbors. Asking for salt is not a thing anymore...

Going to Metal concerts is one of my absolute favorite things to do.

I like playing guitar, but I think that qualifies as art probably XP

D&D is fun, do that once a week.

I also play the trading card game, Magic the Gathering.

Reading comics. ( I prefer traditional comics and manga to webcomics.)

Watching TV with my wife.
