Paint tool sai, bamboo touch and laptop! That being said, I haven't draw traditionally in a LONG time.

I use Clip Studio for most of my things and rarely Sai (Sai used to be my main program but it didn't serve my needs as well as Clip Studio :U) and I too use a bamboo pen and touch. For poses or things I'm not completely familiar with drawing though, I do draw them out traditionally along with all the page thumbnails. ^ . ^

I use Manga Studio EX 4 (and somes EX 5) and a Cintiq 13hd and Cintiq Companion when travelling to make my manga Model Student!~^^b

Drawing your comic on paper and editing it digitally is a perfectly fine way to do it. But if you've never tried doing it all digital, give it a try and see how you like it! Your first attempts might not come out good (mine sucked a LOT at first), but if you still find yourself having fun, just keep at it.

I strongly recommend investing in a tablet, if you don't have one already.

For Grassblades, I do my storyboards/scripts on regular printer paper, but everything else is 100% digital - a combination of Manga Studio 4 EX and Manga Studio 5, using my good old cintiq 21UX. MS4EX for digital roughs, panelling and dialogue, and then MS5 for all the cleanup, inking and colouring.

I could use MS5 for all of it, but I like using 4EX for its story-function (i.e: multiple-page files), and because I prefer the way its panelling and dialogue tools work. MS5 has them too, but they're set up a bit differently, and don't really feel right to me.

I do draw a lot of traditional stuff too - I did all of my inktober pictures with brush and ink on watercolour paper this year - but when it comes to comics, digital is just faster for me, since it streamlines a lot of the process.

I have a variety of art styles I used for different things. But for my comic, I draw it on paper with pencil and ink (mech pencil for the sketch, and comic multiliners for the inks). Then I scan it, and paint it in photoshop adding any graphic/special effects I want.

For my comic University of Speed I draw it traditionally using mechanical pencil, then ink using a tech pen and fountain pen. After that I scan it and clean up the lines on photoshop then proceed on coloring the page, adding borders, and speech bubbles as the final steps.

I do a lot of thumbnail pages on printed paper and write out the script and stuff on printed paper also. once that's finished I open up sai paint and draw everything there. sometimes i'll even write the dialogue in too depending on how I visualize the text. if not, all the writing is done in Photoshop.

Storyboard/thumbs: I draw them traditionally with a random pen on blank sides of my old lab reports or uni materials CX don't want to waste paper too much... ( :
Sketches: just a random pencil
Inking: 0,1 and 0,3 ink pens- Faber-Castell Ecco Pigment, Sakura Pigma Micron or Standardgraph Tec Pen, depending on which art shop I visited lately (though I like Standardgraph the most, I suppose). I use 0,1 for most of the lineat, and 0,3 for outerlines of things that are closer and for hair. For bigger black areas I use Kuretake ZIG Art & Graphic Twin black marker (brush end, and I use pen end for frames&speech bubbles)

For Fallacy I do thumbnails traditionally with a pen on normal printing paper. I love the freedom of being able to sketch things out anywhere.

After that I scan the thumbnails and get to work with Clip Studio / Manga Studio (which ever you want to call it). I did buy some extra brushes for it tho, as I have no idea how to create those by myself and I wanted somet hat mimic traditional watercolors.

I use Wacom Intuos Pro as my drawing tablet and I'm quite in love with it. I used to have an old, crummy Trust tablet but it broke and I'm actually happy about that as I had to buy a new one. :'D I also used to use a combination of SAI and Photoshop but thankfully now I can do everything with one program.

When I work traditionally I either use micron pens or liquid ink for inking and coloring is usually done with watercolors. Sometimes (very rarely) I also work with copics or crayons.

For my comic Shades Of Men I started with paper and ink.
But switched to all digital a few years back.

I draw on a mini Ipad, with art studio app and Adonit Jot pro stylus.
It's good on the go but I have to say a bigger screen wouldn't be a bad thing!

For both of my comics Seishin Patona and In The Midst I use Adobe Photoshop CS5 to make them. I tried making my comic traditionally when I start back in 2006 but it wasn't for me so in 2010 I went digital.

For Scarlet Black and Slow & Quicky, I use 100% of Clip studio Paint. In Disfiguratve Meaning I had used paper and pencil in some rare occasions.

I use Photoshop for rough, inks and tones. I currently use a Wacom Bamboo Pen and Touch (pretty old model now). I was doing the rough sketch on paper but I'll probably gonna go pure digital starting volume 3 since I'm still redrawing them after I scanned the rough pages because I'm so bad at traditional drawings...
