What was the weirdest / randomest inspiration you ever had

once in college, i woke up with my entire leg had fallen asleep. i had been forced awake by my body because that was too much blood not in a section of what the brain considers an important body part. i got up and basically face planted because the leg couldnt hold my weight. was kind of scary for a good 5min while i tried to figure out what was happening and then the "BLOOD RETURNING FEELING" to my leg began and it was helllllllllll on earth. ive broken an arm before and that hurt. this was a totally different level of pain. id rather have my menstrual cramps than go through the entire leg, hip to toes, being asleep - EVER again.
that inspired me so much that i put it into NTN and made a MC experience it MWUAHAHHAHAHHAAA

I had been sleeping on my side with the leg I was "on" up so the knee was by my chin. Not an unusual way for me to sleep on the air mattress I used in college but I think it had gotten low on air during the night or something so I had gone into a dip, and I don't move much in my sleep unless I'm hot, so it was just a "conditions perfect" for it to happen QQ BE WARNED KIDDIES DO NOT SLEEP WITH ONE LEG BENT SO MUCH AND THEN LAY ON ITTTTT

I made up one plottwist (already revealed in my comic) while trying to fall asleep in a train. It was a long trip and I felt like teleporting. XD

I once had an idea for a god of wealth kinda character, who produced diamonds and coal from their body because of a one episode of a dumb comedy sitcom.

When i was like 12, i was playing with my cousins. For some random reason i found a rock in my toy box....i used it as an inanimate rock that was treated as an epic hero and due to many coincidences beat the villains. We all laughted at the absurdity of the situation. Many years later, i remembered that and it inspired my current comic.

And once a dream gave me literally a videogame concept.

I realized while drawing a Regular Show fan art that my style needs more neon colors and shiny lasers. I never understood that I was such a retro vhs style artist until I made that.
