When my family travels by the roads at night, we sometimes go through small hills overlooking a lot of other similarily sized ones, and in the darkness it feels like the forest below is actually halfway sunken in a pitch-black river. It's not gonna be relevant in a while, but the dangerous Sable Lake is now a real location in Splitting Image's larger universe, and the second villain arc is a mage that uses a vapour boiled from the lake water to make people fall asleep in an instant.

Mid year exam in uni. We had 3 days of 3 exams per day, and one evening I was craaaazy as a coconut
Being unable to comprehend the freaking Chinese characters anymore, I made a bunch of sketches based on Alice in Wonderland, I jokingly call them "The sleep of mind produces monsters".
They are not something special, but for me they were probably the first ever "creepy" stuff I made: Red Queen has her head cut and a beating heart in her mouth, White Queen reminds of a moth, with hair made of spiderweb and green liquid pouring from her mouth, The Hatter has his mouth stitched and just looks like he is very into BDSM, Alice is wearing a straightjacket and has an eye with 2 irides that can see into different worlds... For quite some time now I wish to redraw them

I named a central element of my whole story universe from a corruption of the Spanish word for "platypus" because I had just been looking at some Phineas and Ferb fan art by a Spanish-speaking artist XD

once in college, i woke up with my entire leg had fallen asleep. i had been forced awake by my body because that was too much blood not in a section of what the brain considers an important body part. i got up and basically face planted because the leg couldnt hold my weight. was kind of scary for a good 5min while i tried to figure out what was happening and then the "BLOOD RETURNING FEELING" to my leg began and it was helllllllllll on earth. ive broken an arm before and that hurt. this was a totally different level of pain. id rather have my menstrual cramps than go through the entire leg, hip to toes, being asleep - EVER again.
that inspired me so much that i put it into NTN and made a MC experience it MWUAHAHHAHAHHAAA

I had been sleeping on my side with the leg I was "on" up so the knee was by my chin. Not an unusual way for me to sleep on the air mattress I used in college but I think it had gotten low on air during the night or something so I had gone into a dip, and I don't move much in my sleep unless I'm hot, so it was just a "conditions perfect" for it to happen QQ BE WARNED KIDDIES DO NOT SLEEP WITH ONE LEG BENT SO MUCH AND THEN LAY ON ITTTTT

I made up one plottwist (already revealed in my comic) while trying to fall asleep in a train. It was a long trip and I felt like teleporting. XD

I once had an idea for a god of wealth kinda character, who produced diamonds and coal from their body because of a one episode of a dumb comedy sitcom.
