What Was Your First Comic?

I was wondering what was the first comic you ever made? Not the first ever comic you ever made here on Tapas, but the first comic you EVER made.

My first comic EVER was a Cardcaptor Sakura fan comic when I was like 11 or 12. It was right after the series was over. It was about the Nameless Card and I didn't know what it was so I was like "you know what? Sakura confessed her feelings to Syaoran and then this card came up... so this is... THE LOVE CARD!" The plot followed Sakura and Kero, the Love card got loose and possessed Kero who would fall in love with everything and it caused a lot of problems for Sakura who of course had no clue what was going on until she realized and sealed the card away. Now that I think about it... it was pretty true to canon hahaha. I still have this comic somewhere in storage and I can't wait to find it and keep it forever.

darn, i don't quite remember but since you talked about CCS, i do recall one of the earliest comics I've ever done was a rip-off of CCS, and I called it The Capturers. hahaha. I don't remember the plot but i'm sure it was just a carbon copy of CLAMP's story.

My first comic ever.......

The first one i remember was about a yellow bunny and a green worm who had adventures that were parodies of movies, tv shows, etc....The first one was a Harry Potter parody.

I used to read it to my brothers (because my calligraphy was terrible) and they laughted like crazy.

The first one I made was about me and my friends at recess in grade 1. Extremely creative, if I do say so myself.

The first one I put on the INTERNET was a series of fancomics about Silver and Lyra from Pokemon Heartgold/Soulsilver. They were done on paper and then scanned and then straight to DeviantArt. I then wrote a full-length fanfic novel about Silver having an existential crisis between choosing the good or evil (Team Rocket lmaoooo) side. All this was done during math class in eighth grade, and my teacher and I had a little discussion about time management.

It was in school... I remember it like if was yesterday... It was about a guy who got electrocuted and gain electric powers. His name was "Electric man" XD
And it was inspired by the brother of my friend (who write the script), who have a lot of static in his body

The first comic I ever made was about a character named "Dude," a paper bag who played the guitar XD
My dad even photocopied the pages and we stapled them together like a real comic book. I was so proud

My first comics were fancomics I made as a kid for things like Ben 10, Shaolin Showdown... whatever I was watching on CN at the time lol

I was a huge nerd

Oh and I had a thing I worked on for ages about a pair of demonic royals who were competing to inherit the throne. It was kind of cute but edgyyyyyy

My first was from a sketchbook that I thrown out when I was 12. It's the old designs of my OCs and I was heavily inspired from Bleedman back in the day.

I think it was a fighting scene of my twin OCs. It was edgy.

You have no idea how much CCS makes me go "kyaaaaa!!~~" like it's so bad lol. And my first ever was only like 2 pages from junior highschool. Then my first real one was 2 chapters of this thing (don't even remember) for Lezhin's 2016 contest and man did I struggle. Literally had no idea what I was doing, first time using clip studio, and only had a week or so to finish . . . good memories haha. It sucked so bad and it will never see the light of day.

I believe it had something to do with anthropomorphic animals as I was really into Arthur at the time I started making visual narratives.

my first comic was a character called zag throb. a space agent. it was drawn in felt pen on a3 paper (landscape) and the whole thing was stitched together with string and folded into an a4 size comic. a truly one off comic.
a while back i did start drawing it digitally and posting it here on tapas but it didn't really get a following so i scrapped it to give attention to other things. ( I think the British humor was lost here)

hmmm... i think i made a page of a comic i wanted to make when i was 13. the page involved a character contemplating losing all her friends. there wasnt a moment i became depressing, i started out that way lol

I was really into Sailor Moon when I was in 7th or 8th grade and that was when I made my first comic. So of course it was magical girls and for some reason they were named after continents? Gotta have some sort of gimmick!

I actually posted it online for anyone who is truly daring. I was going to post all of my early comics, but I never ended up finishing.

my very first comic, was inspired by some SciFi show, before they changed the channel name to SyFy. And one character's name meant air to us for some reason. So we made this world of measurements, masses fought space. The main character was this quadrouple amputy aptly named Cubit, because his height was one cubit. He was an active 4 star general. Was kind of cool. Had made up drug dealers that dealt something called spice, which was just peppers. There was this world ender named blackhole, which was the most beautiful yet deadly being in the universe. Then you had gravity bombs that warped space and alter appearances of space people. was fun.

A comic named "Scaredy Man" - It was about a stick man that was scared of everything - each strip would end with him overexaggerating from whatever subject of fear was featured at the time by either running away or exploding on the spot. A friend and I alternated drawing strips and they always ended up funny as hell. Good times.

As far as I can recall it was a comic about a super-powered mentos that I did for my elementary school newspaper. Then there was this incident where another student decided to write his own comic for the paper with his own super-powered mentos character. I don't remember how that ended, but I am one of the few people who've actually had someone steal their OC.

i have made other comics like this with this oc when i was pretty young, i was usually re-drawing entire comics of ninja turtles, dragon ball, battle angel alita, batman and stuff like this on printer paper, so it was like my first essays with my own character x)

The ink and colors have dried and are almost transparent now... and the paper is all yellowish
