When you've finished your current work, do you already have an idea of what you want to write next?
I've still probably got at least a year with my current BL novel, but after that I have a few ideas.

  1. A fantasy M/F romance that's 90% finished, but I took a break from because the editing was stressing me out. I might like to return to this when I have time.

  2. Another fantasy M/F romance that I outlined about 7 story arcs for, but decided I wanted to try BL instead so never got around to writing it.

  3. An idea for an action fantasy story that I unwind by coming up with plot points for.

How about you? Do you have plans for what you're going to work on next?

cool ideas bro! hope you get to finish all of these! keep up the good work!

as for me?...

yep i have something in the works, i wanted to finish my first series but it would take a long long time, its like one piece or lord of the rings long hahaha

Well, I have years worth of work for now but there's definitely stuff I'd like to work on once my current stories are done!

Once I finish Dreamseer and Antemortem I'd like to get back to working on my three part fantasy series. I finished book one, but I still need to do one more round of edits and them finish book two and write book three.

There's also a vague time-travel idea I've been toying with, but that won't be until much later.

Oh, and I also have to finish my comedy book about incompetent henchmen.

A mysterious crime story which plays in my hometown which I will write with my brother

A funny erotic comic which I will plan to publish in 2026. It´s a tough genre
to write and I have been working on for a long time

I don't have a current story out yet, but I'm considering making an entry for the Manga Draft contest. Unfortunately I found out a few days ago and only have a month from start to finish.

The theme is legend. The only idea I have so far is a mage in training discovers that half human monsters really do exist and that her roommate is one. But I worry that it falls under "rumor" rather than "legend"

Outside of that I have a college romance and a magical girl series I've been tinkering with

I would just work on the next in the series of books, and continue ad infinitum.

Working on a dystopian future action comics right now. Storyline and characters are coming together. Should start up weekly next month.

While Trespasser will likely take me another 6 to 10 years before it's done, I have some ideas lined up.

  • a direct Trespasser sequel (Odyssey)
  • a spin-off Trespasser sequel (Legacy)
  • a Trespasser prequel
  • a Medieval fantasy story about Gods, destiny and crumbling kingdoms
  • a modern day political story with minor fantasy &scifi elements
  • a Swords and Sorcery style story about a journey into apotheosis.
  • a story about angels, demons and a demonpossesed priest
  • a cyberpunk style story about a man clawing his way from the bottom to the top
  • a martial arts based fantasy story about Gods and their chosen champions.

I'm not even sure... AngHell dela Blackpill is still a work in progress. Depends what happens when that time comes. Didn't really plan on writing AngHell. Script came a few months before I started uploading.

Same deal with MAG-ISA. I was working on Brood Knight storyline that got put on indefinite hold when certain things happened that pushed me to do MAG-ISA.

Probably a more wholesome and chill romance novel I've had the concept for for about a year. The stories (with the exception of my comic) I'm working on right now are all pretty heavy, so I think a lighter one would be nice for my readers

My next project after A Crownes Game is some kind of dark academia/steampunk fantasy where a city that blends 1800s london and venice has a group of mages called Shadehands. They're very powerful but, one day, electric lights bring light to even the darkest of nights... Not so good for the Shadehands

I don't plan on finishing Haru and Tsukasa for quite a while, and by the time I do, I'll be on my deathbed.

But I still have a wide array of stories I want to tell, so I'll try to release all of them during my lifetime.

Here are some of them:
- A woman sailor in the 1700s disguised as a man.
- A woman in her mid 20s gaining the powers of the Egyptian gods
- A slice of life about a woman living in Brussels
- A political thriller about an attempted overthrowing of a government
- A drama piece about a fictional holiday
- A coming-of-age story about a guy who has a cat motif
- A children's series about a fictional world populated by desserts
- A horror story about a few lumberjacks cutting down magical trees and those trees coming back to life
- A bollywood-esque story based off of the public domain short "Steamboat Willie", set in the mid-2000s

... among other things.

I know it's a lot, but I'll try!

After The Lost Forest books 1,2, and 3 maybe a sci-fi novel next that seems like it would be fun to write as well but I could turn my thriller comic into a novel .

Once I’m finished with my CSP comic contest entry, I’ll have two things to work on: one is a historical romance that I’m writing/drawing together with a friend, the other is an action fantasy thing I’ve been planning for years. Also countless little ideas that don’t have a consistent plot yet.
But first I gotta get better at drawing, because I recently found out that the style that always worked for me in traditional does not translate into digital at all…

I estimate that my current comic will take at least 2-3 years for me to finish, but that’s not accounting for when I go to college and figure out life stuff. I’ll probably have less time. But the hope is that after I finish Recollections I will either work on Fuego de Sombra, or Star Hunters. I’m literally almost done writing Fuego de Sombra and I’m itching to write a sequel, but the story ended up being longer than I thought it would be… I expected it to be the kind of thing that could fit in a full length movie, but it’s a bit more tv show length now. I’m not sure how long Star Hunters would be, but most of the story is just fun traveling adventures so I’d say the length is pretty flexible.

I'm neck-deep in writing Of Lowlifes, Lutes, & Liars and Apparent Secrets for the time being, but once both of those finish, I'm not sure. If there's enough demand for it, I might do a BL story of one of the character's backstories from Apparent Secrets, or perhaps a sequel novel with the next generation of in-universe characters... :heart_03:

If there are any fans out there who read both, I'd love to hear your thoughts on sequels/prequels. :coffee_love:

I honestly have a ton of ongoing work on hold so I'll probably pick up one of those and get going. I want to write a series with a book i self published so i might go with that one next

I dig that title, I love alliterations, especially for funny comics

Wow, that's a really good question. I've been thinking about it and honestly, I'm going to take a long break and try to improve my art so it looks more professional.

As for writing a story, I do have something in mind, possibly an LGBTQ novel or something, but I think it'll take me a while to get back to working on something serious. I mean, I've been here for three years now.
