Though I mean, I was originally imagining Niji Chikara as an animated series, so I wouldn't mind if that were to happen someday. Not likely to be any time soon, though.

Well, I've already had a decent amount of fanart with Errant, so I've managed to tick that box (but I'm always happy to get more!), so I think in terms of "stuff I'd like to see other people do in reaction to my comic", it'd be fun to see fanfic, or especially cosplay! I'd love to be invited to speak about my comic at some sort of big comics event on a panel, like MCM or something.

Anything beyond that though, like an animated adaptation, feels like a big stretch for a comic with my size of following, so I prefer to focus more on milestones I can achieve myself, like getting the books funded and printed (first one done!) and having cool merch like stickers, shirts etc. I have toyed with the idea of making a dub (it'd make sense since I dub comics as a hobby already... It's just hard work to organise), and I'd love to commission a music album some time.

An animated adaptation with my minimal involvement would be cool, if only so I can get that $$$, otherwise its fine existing as is.

I have a very specific (and probably achievable) wish... I work in a library, and I want to find my comic in the pile of return books. Just like, randomly come across it while working, and see that someone thought it was cool enough to take home.

Putting aside the fact that I work there, my library is very good about purchasing books from local writers/artists, so I know if I produce a physical copy by any means, they'll buy a couple to add to the collection. The trickier thing is honestly being the one who's working when the book gets returned, since it can travel all across the system. ><

I have to agree with other people in this thread saying we'd love to have more readers. I mean yes, I'd love to have much more readers and the readers giving you feedback. I've always loved comments when people tell you their thoughts and cheer you up, one comment can do wonders. Having fanarts would be sure very nice too

I think it'd be really cool to have a little fandom of sorts, I mean I imagine a lot of us would appreciate the scott pilgrim vs the world treatment. But I also think a lot of us would be happy just to know that people cared about our work.

Started as a video game idea, so (1) Action-horror beat em up game
or (2) a live action Series like Stranger Things/ Evil Dead etc

I´ll start working on a comic in july and I want to win a contest with it.
I won last year´s contest for the same magazine.
I´m not sure what the comic will be about but probably a 2nd part of the
last comic I did.

Winning that contest was pretty cool for multiple reasons, I got money,
I was in the newspaper and I got jobs through the newspaper article.
The 2 best things about it were that 1) my comic got printed and
2) it was instant gratification. The guy who held the contest wrote
me right away how much he liked it and that felt good

I dunno, for it to get reviewed, hailed as a cult classic, to be referenced in pop culture somehow, et cetera. I am already fulfilling some kind of media expansion for it, but on my own terms.

Short term is for it to have enough of an audience to justify spending the time needed to work on some short animations.
Because no matter how good I feel animating, the labor to engagement ratio is difficult

Once I aquire an income which id harder being disabled with the epilepsy I have. I plan on hiring someone to redraw/colour mine, then I would publish it. I could design the template, covers, do the rest fine with my graphic and website desgin background.

I am already working on animation shorts and collabing with a voice actor who is doing other collabs as well to build his portfolio. I didnt ask him to help me out, he saw my projects test sequences I had posted in a FB Manga Artists and Animators Group I'm part of. He loved my project and wanted to use his voice for it.

I first saw anime back in the 80s as Astro Boy dubbed English in black and white I wanted to do my own. Back then 'cartoon' was used alot.

I already have people doing fan art. I post that on my main studio site with artists links.

Long-term goal/dream is to publish a physical paperback version, but I'm going to wait until certain scenes have happened in this current chapter before I start putting together packages. I'd also have to re-draw all the crummy early chapters.

big big BIG dream goal is if I do end up publishing a physical version if someone ever cosplayed as one of the girls from my comic that would probably make me cry lol.

My biggest dream for Elsie is to have someone (a fashion historian) analyze my comic or someone draw historically accurate clothing fan art or something.

I mean I’ve done my research on the fashion of the time but it would be cool if someone drew or made historically accurate cosplay or something.

I mean. I tried. Mainstream steampunk fashion looks weird to me. I took a more historical approach.
