Being a person that post on both there is a huge gap between the two sites, You WILL get more views, comments and likes with Webtoons. But people are rude, and sometimes down right insulting to a lot of people if you don't reach their Standards. You can't block anyone, you cant delete their messages. But thats to say for every rude person on there there's like 30 nice people. So it evens out but you don't have much control as a creator on there with what comments can be shown you just have to flag and hope an admin will take it down (they usually don't)
With Tapastic people are more shy, don't comment as much, you will have a slower climb to the higher numbers since getting noticed is very broken on this site. But You'll have more loyal readers and less ghost subscribers. Plus there's notifications when someone comments or subscribes.
For comics though they are pretty similar expect webtoons wants JPGs only. But other then that Each one has its pros and cons. It's just what you think is better- I mean if you wanna get popular fast Webtoons is the way to go, but if you wanna have a meaningful relationship with fans Tap is the way to go.
