What's you favorite weapon you like to give your characters?

I would say...a staff. Or any other magical item. I'm more the typical backline person then the frontline sword slashing warrior.Mostly because melee mode never worked for me in games xD. So I rather stay on safe mode and give my characters a balanced weapon and both offense and defense.

Being strategic is actually the best method of survival. Using magic from afar would definitely help you survive. Like the old saying, "it brains over brawn".

I don't create comics, I write Steampunk fiction. That's why I have swords there not too often. Mostly my characters have firearms. The last of my characters, inspector Cane, use a pistol, but as far as plot goes, he uses a sniper rifle with fancy scope. Why? Because I like guns with scopes, LOL. My grandpa was a hunter and he took me for hunting from time to time. By the way, finding a model for inspector Cane rifle with scope was a hell of a problem. But I nailed it. One of my friends showed me review of best rifle scopes and I have found a proper model for my character. By the way, they sell cool stuff as I saw.

Me like Soul Calibur's control system though. Four angles of attack plus thrust. That basically the same as this ultra-minimal arnis style, Cinco Teros, or "Five Strikes." Me been brushing up old arnis skills because of recent crisis.

I should actually say magic lol, 95% of my characters are elemental mages. Other than that it's various types of pole weapons: spear, guandao, glaive...

Guillotine Gun. Evolved from the Berger guillotine, can be used either with a stock or without one. It can be carried by hand like a firearm, but shoots an angular blade that can cut through even the thickest of ... souls. It saw great usage during the French and Japanese wars.

Scythe. It's mid-range. Originally for farming now used as a weapon I like it because in media it's primarily used to signify Death,or the Grim Reaper.And without death,there'd be no life so I like it as it signifies equality. Life and death,mid-range,could be thrown or used like a sword,and even when it's thrown,there are million of way to throw it. One more deadly and/or beautiful than the last!

Talons and teeth are totally my thing. In my comic's universe, reapers are an organic living species that are born with "scythes" in the form of gigantic claws that are sharper than swords. There's also a lot of other monstrous creatures, so there's lots of bloodshed involving teeth, claws, and beaks.

Aside from that, my girl Saige uses a Taiaha in combat. And my other girl, Genesis, breathes fire and spits acid. Then you have Shade....who hides in a corner and cries when faced with battle.

Characters of my current comic are living in Russia, so weapon range is really limited. But main favorite will be Makarov pistol - light, accurate enough if you're have experience, and looks really beautiful.
And second is SMG or Short carbine, so my favorite will be AKS-74U - size of SMG, but firepower from assault rifle, unlike of SMGs for pistol rounds. Those are very old and has stopped producing almost for 25 years already, but it's still an AK, so it works really great if you maintain your carbine well. And of course it looks great.

I'd say it's generally some sort of gun (usually more of a futuristic one than based off any models, although if I were to choose one then maybe based a Sopmod). Scythes are also pretty nice.

Mine is Sword and Shield. I played a lot of Monster Hunters and Skyrim and I usually picked the SnS. Offense and defense was my thing since I'm very tactical when it comes to fights.

For a one-shot I'm planning on writing for a magazine (that I might end up making into another series) is going to have a magic whip as a weapon for them to use. It's creative and different from what I've seen on the site. So that's my preference, I do like scythes and such but they've been done to DEATH. (Heh funny joke).
