There's so many cool art styles on here! I love this thread
The style I'm working on is a detail-oriented anime/manhwa type. It's still not quite the precise look I'm working toward, but so far everything's turned out pretty nice! I'm hoping to try turning my novel into a comic later on, so for now, these are just accompaniment pictures I post for visuals of my characters
Genre: Romance, Fantasy, Adventure
Luka the artist sold his soul and made a deal with a demon to save his friend, he has to do terrible things, at the same time he wants a normal and peaceful life, what will he get? especially when the very friend he doesn't want to see returns.
it was very important for me to write this story. I hope you like the first chapter
I'm not quite sure how to describe my art style, haha. There's definitely a lot of anime inspiration, especially in the way I draw expressions. I also tend to favor bright colors, maybe because I grew up watching (and still watch) a lot of cartoons.
I also tend to do minimal shading (as seen above), but when I do shade, I really enjoy cel-shading.
A lot of people I know have described my style as "anime" or "manga." While I would say it's anime-esque, it's a bit too cartoony to get the full title of anime/manga style IMO. My brother has compared my style to Avatar: the Last Airbender, which was the show we grew up on, and honestly I don't think it's thaaaat much of a strech. If we're gonna be comparing art styles to cartoon shows, I'd definitely say my art style is closest to the She-Ra reboot. The backgrounds I colour in this sort of watercolour-y crayon style. It's supposed to be a crayon tool, but it looks more like watercolour at times.
Idk. What do you guys think?
I've been told that my artsyle is reminiscent of Tim Burton/Don't Starve! Which is fine by me xD
Mine is a classic Manga Style with a touch of realistic.
I get told a lot that my art style is similar to "One" the creator of Mob pyscho and One Punch Man. My art style is a mixture of anime and Western cartoons.
my style is a mix between cartoon/realism with a hint of poofy anime hair heheh
A mix of shoujo manga and wuxia action
Episode 10 of Grand Epic Elemental is now available
Synopsis:In a world overseen by the goddesses of the four elements, Leiyu accompanies a trade caravan traveling westward to the Kingdom of Ishkhandar. Little does he know, he is about to meet someone who will change his life and embark on a journey to escape fate.
Simple but bold lines. Love vibrant colors and fun to draw characters!!
My style is different, let's say. I really liked shounen series when I was child and later magical girls. I really like sharp edges and squares. Most say my biggest asset is my color choice yet I'm a person who enjoys B/W and greyscale drawings the most. Details are life.
My art style is a mix of my favorite anime and some artists I encountered on my journey, these are some scenes to give you an idea
If you had the chance to have a single wish granted, what would it be?And what are you willing to do for this chance?
