hmm.. good question.

I guess, my friends and people I know are my appeal. because I don't have an audience yet, I can't really say.

If I had to come up with a 'personal brand', I'd probably say something vague like 'I like rich, vibrant colors, sweeping landscapes, and cool people doing awesome things'.

But I think my 'personal brand' has probably been best summed up by the label a lot of other people have stuck on me when they see my art: "Marker Witch".

I like drawing very delicate and pencil sketch-like art (‾◡◝)

using digital pens like G-Pen or any other harsh dark line doesn't really fit my style, so I use Artemus Big Boy pencil or Pencil R on Clip Studio Paint (❁´◡`❁)

Hmm... my current comic is fantasy/romance, but next I'll probably aim for action/horror. I enjoy switching things up

I've pretty much always just shrugged and embraced my role as being:

Your gay british aunt who makes surprisingly wholesome gay weeb comics. Like a millennial Sue Perkins who loves 00s shounen manga.

I'd say my "brand" is "the character lady" or smth like that

When I wrote my comic, I mostly put effort into my characters and wrote really detailed descriptions of who they'd be. My backgrounds and plots aren't all that detailed, but my characters are all three-dimensional. All I really need to do is put two characters in a situation and it basically writes itself. I think that's paid off because that's what people talk about the most, and I'm honestly really happy with that

I like to connect with people through comical artwork.

I'm an anthro-loving guy who dedicate to his comic world & story. Want to stay true to my art and be brave. Also to remind people that I'm from the eastern hemisphere & culture, the stuff i draw & write will be somewhat different. I want my comic series appeals to international audience.

"I either make you laugh or make you cry. Maybe horny too, but I'm not sure on that part."

Cartoony outside, dark and dead inside? Something like that, dunno :information_desk_person:

Fantasy inspired by lots of historical architecture, technology and fashion. I incorporate a lot of retro aesthetics and tech. Puns. Lots of puns and music references! Art style is inspired by 90's anime and combines crisp lineart of vectors with watercolor effects, but I've also gotten into 3D modeling to design architecture.

lmao but honestly i dunno? a lot of my ocs have somewhat similar vibes at least when it comes to personality traits and the stories i'm working on have a few shared themes (existentialism or a desire for purpose or the freedom to just exist for example) but i have no idea of anyone would have a strong specific label they could pin on me other than "inactive or unproductive" at least from an outsider point of view

lmao same tbh :stuck_out_tongue: But what do you want to be? I do feel like your art has pretty clear vibes and 'themes of existentialism or a desire for purpose or the freedom to just exist etc' does give me a not-too-nebulous idea of what you write about :] It's cool if you can't quite put words to what you're going for though c:

Desperately trying to be chaotic, I guess
I would like my brand to be "a person who can discuss everything"

Punk

Which is secretly a code phrase for "I don't friggin' know man I just do what I do and I think it's cool" and also there is attitude

Since my username/brand name is Toxic Ramen, my logo design is a Ramen Noodle Cup/Bowl with a Biohazard symbol on it. The brand name "Toxic Ramen" comes from: Toxic was from one of old OCs Toxic Tammi and for Ramen, I ate alot of ramen when I was in high school (I still do now).

I'd say my brand can be summed up as: lava everywhere, slap some crazy skyscrapers in there, and cute aliens.

Ah, I guess I could've phrased my question better ^^; I was more asking about what kind of stuff you write/draw - what kind of vibes/aesthetics you tend to go for that might cause it to be recognizable as your work even if you didn't mention it? :]

(Unless you actually, literally draw toxic ramen all the time, in which case I guess your did answer the question I was meaning to ask :P)
