What's Your Favorite Arc So Far in Your Story?

Just finished up an arc and started another one.

I think my favorite would be either the Season Finale one or the Dodgeball one. It's like a tie :v

The Season Finale one for all the hurdles I had to jump through to make everything come to a satisfying conclusion. I remember it being a difficult thing to write while the Dodgeball one for being fun to write, over-the-top, and quite possibly the goofiest. I've always wanted to do a battle arc like this since Dodgeball was my favorite sport as a kid.

I'm hoping this arc will hold up a candle to the others since it has the potential in being my favorite. :v

yeah, season finales are usually the best since you have a lot leading up to it. For my story my favorites are also at the end of the first season. It's a tie with the big warehouse fight against the people hunting my mc and the arc right before where the mc helps an immortal deal with a curse placed on him.

Well, I only have two arcs finished for now, with one currently going. But I'm still easily choosing the second one: Bad Night (chapters 6-8). Because I think is so much better than the first episodes which where mostly introductory in comparison.

The funny thing is, that it was supposed to be irrelevant to the plot at large. Something between the first arc and the next, much longer, one. To just be an entertaining arc where both main characters worked together for the first time.
But I ended up writing a bunch of events that are going to be extremely relevant to the rest of the story. In general, many important things are stablished and will affect many plot-points.

And it's also very fun to me and enjoyed writing it, specially the antagonist.

My favourite arc (that’s been published so far, at least) would have to be the one where Daecon has finally successfully shifted into an eagle form and is having the time of his life learning to fly while also growing closer to Evander, whom, even though they just met, he very much has a thing for. I don’t know if it’s just the fact that I wrote it or not, but I can feel Daecon’s joy of flying. This chapter also includes one of my favourite drawings in the series: Evander in Osprey form about to ruin the day of a large lake trout.

the Wrestling Academy arc is by far my favorite
its the next one in the story and I'm really excited for people to read it

I think that so far the Duel Arc is my favorite, easily identified by the chapter names being Guilty Gear songs

The most current arc(Druglord Arc) with it dark themes and how its centered on a drug cartel

I think the last arc I finished (New Kid on the Ship + The Confession) is my favorite so far. It's a pivotal moment in the series, and I managed to work in some of the best jokes, best pictures, some dramatic stakes, and character conflict / character explorations.

I feel like it really pays off all of the characterization in the story leading up to it. Hopefully, it also presents a moral dilemma where each character's decisions make sense with the information they're given, their personal morals, and their personalities.

Do you find that tournament / battle arcs are often arbitrary? In something like Dr. Stone --- which I don't know if you are familiar with --- I find that the introduction of a "tournament arc" does nothing to enhance the plot and simply is there out of a possible feeling of obligation. How do you gauge whether or not it is worth it or natural to have in your own story?

My story haven't gotten into first arc yet (still in the introductory act 1). but base from my draft & its future events my favorite could be the middle arc. I only have 3 big arcs.

Same In that case, judging by how many times I mention each of my unpublished arcs, I seem to obsess over Arc 2 the most XD

I'm still at the beginning of my story, so I still don't have a complete arc. My favorite part in the pages I've already drawn is the new ones I will post at the end of August, were I start to introduce the plot, the mysteries the guys will have to unravel.
My favorite part of the whole story is when Noah will be kidnapped, it will be very emotional.

I am currently on a semi-arc that explores the past of a character named Oz. He is a mane captain serving under the company of Judge Kahn IV.
Manes are the collective name for the nomadic local tribes scattered all over the continent they pirate the seas, plundering, aiding wars, stealing, and so on.

They serve no king but they move according to the orders of their judge Kahan, kingdoms consider them criminals and heretics who do not believe in God, the Messiah. This arc really explores Oz's company and crew members.
