What's your favorite Halloween activity?

I loved trick or treating as a kid, especially the houses that would scare kids (like someone hiding in a pile of leaves to jump out and say "boo.") I also loved decorating the yard, but these days, everyone does trunk or treat, because it's safer. Maybe I'll get to try that this year.

I hated those houses! I would scream and refuse to go up to get the candy so the houses would give extra to my sisters to give to me. I wanted the treats and absolutely no tricks!!

I forgot this one. Yes! My little nieces were Belle and Chip from beauty and the beast last halloween! My youngest niece was still super unsteady on her feet and watching her stumble around in her Chip costume was the cutest thing in the entire universe.

Definitely watching horror movies! I try to find really bad obscure ones and then finish it all off with my yearly The Exorcist viewing. Even though halloween isn't really a thing where I'm from I still try to find some halloween-y decorations to get into the mood. Also I eat a lot of candy and chocolate. And I don't have to share because there are no trick-or-treaters!

Staying inside and not doing anything for the season whatsoever. Also not watching horror movies.
Maybe the only tradition comes from my wife and watching Young Frankenstein. But ... I'd rather do nothing.
I'm a Grinch. But for Halloween instead of Christmas. Bah.

I like looking at decorations and will go to different stores just to walk around the Halloween section. I am not really a fan of scary things, I tend to prefer the stuff that is goofy, cutsy, and kid friendly. I also like to look at the different costumes to see what the trend of the year is, tho I don't really dress up myself.

I also like to watch Halloween episodes of various shows.

There are a ton of photos and video of previous years Kawasaki Halloween parade and events floating around online. Some of the costumes are outright amazing! I've participated in the parade several times (probably 5 or 6), last year my friends and I did an Addams Family group costume but didn't join the parade, just hung out in the main area. It's an absolute blast to be there live!

me and my siblings all dress up and go trick or treating, we are 28, 26 (this is me!), 23, 17, and 13 hahaha! We adult children don't ask for candy, we let the younger two do that, but we have fun nonetheless!...And we just eat their candy later hahaha!! I also like carving pumpkins a lot too!
