I love this ones!!!

First, Zigzagoon because it was the first one with 'pick-up' abilitie. Since then, I always tries to have a pkmn with that abilitie on my team, and if I can, it has to be a Zigzagoon~

Farfetch, because its one of the pkmns who can learn thief and false swipe. Some really useful attacks. Later Gorgeist, Stantler or Shuppet could replace Farfetch on the steal department, due to Frisk abilitie, but they usually appear too late on the games to be useful when you need them.

Meowth, because MONEY MONEY MONEY!

And lastly, just because it has this beautiful fan song, Furret. I will win a League just with a perfect IV Furret one day. I swear.

Gengar and Clefable! I love reading theories about their connections. I've named them "Ume" and "Momo" in-game

HE

Sigilyph is so strange, so out there, but it's my favorite. A fully organic lil dude capable of eating(somehow), sleeping, dancing, but acts like a scout robot, and always appears in cool places. It also comes from personal experience, Sigilyph is a super versatile special attacker to go single-player through Unova, and mine always came in clutch for tough type combinations.

Any of Gothita's evolutions. She's an adorable goth, what's not to love?

This answer changes slightly over the years, but the Pokemon I've always called my favorite and I associate with my early (Gen 1-4) pre competitive days is Absol. Yes, this is absolutely a carry-over from my edgelord days and I will not apologize. I have an odd relationship with luck and saw myself as bringing bad luck where ever I went, so I naturally latched onto, and related to Absol

I am mostly familiar with gen 1 because I watched it as a kid.

I liked Squirtle, especially when the one's from the episode where they all had glasses. I used to draw them when I was super young.

I also like magnemite. I think he looks really cute

Tangela is also neat

I remember having a Pokemon book, and Absol was on the very first page, and I was just enamored by it. It had this amazing mystique and cool design and I was fascinated by the whole thing.
