What's Your Favourite Comment You've received?

I was reading this thread https://forums.tapas.io/t/whats-the-most-annoying-comment-on-a-minor-thing-have-you-received/45025 and I think it's really fun, but I haven't gotten any annoying comments yet.

So I ask you, what are some that you've really liked?

My fave comment was on an intense steamy scene, someone wrote: "this was well written, it didn't make me cringe."

People are a little extra shy to comment on NSFW scenes, but this person just wanted me to know, it didn't make her cringe. What more can I ask for? I screenshotted it and I laugh looking at it all the time.

My favorite comment came from another comic creator named @Hatteri. It really meant a lot to me when they said this in a recent episode. Made me feel like I was really reaching someone with my work in the way that I wanted.
"This comic has really started to grow on me. And what's weird is that it gives me a warm feeling similar to nostalgia even though I clearly can't be nostalgic for something brand new but you know...? Maybe because it has similar elements to some of the greatest cartoons of my childhood perhaps? In any case you have now officially won me over as a reader, keep up the amazing work!!! <3"

My favorite comment was "Getting the snot kicked out of him seems to be a reoccurring theme" because in episode 3 of my comic he got the living hell beat out him and in episode 4 He falls of the bed and that's where it was typed up

This one's my favorite comment so far even though I'm not sure if it's from a creator or not:

"Also, what's a priority lane? I don't think they have them in the UK. We do have "10 items or less" lanes, but it's amazing how many people can't count."

I'm not in UK, so it's nice to know that there's someone out there who not only read my comic but also shared a little bit of info or culture about where they're from.

But for real I always love comments of someone being angry at a villain or crying at a death. Just a little confirmation that I got the point across and they actually felt it!

My sister said my comic was good! She wouldn't ever do a pity party so I was glad at her response to the comic Open Flame.

While beta reading some of my comic pages a friend once said he'd "piss in the thread cereal" of the villain. I figured I was doing something right with the antagonist if my friend hates him that much.

As far as comments from strangers on the internet, "The kid with the scarf looks like the Little Prince after electro-shock treatment. Neat stuff. : )" takes the cake.

My all-time-fave is a comment I got on a story that no one ever reads.

OH MY GOODNESS YOU'RE AN AMAZING AUTHOR!!!! It made me so sad to realize I finished all that had been published, I really really really hope you continue this! It's so perfectly written and you capture the characters thoughts and feelings amazingly!! I'll be waiting right here for your return to this masterpiece!!!

I did finish it and notified this reader, but they never replied back or left more comments. Maybe it was too late. Lost their attention.

I wish readers would realize how happy these comments make authors, how motivating it is. Whenever I think that a story is a failure, I take comfort in those few nice comments. It's not a failure. The story is just right to a specific audience. That's all. Can't please everyone.

I have many of those comments and I love deceiving readers with my cute colorful art but then scare them with my very evil mind. 🤩️🦇
