making people FEEEEEL things right?? I know people exaggerate their emotions in the comments, but sometimes you can tell that they really did have an emotional response to your characters and hhnnnggghh, that's the good shit.

I read your "I'm the Prince's Beard" and was immediately intrigued and have already binged read it up-to-date! Now, I must say I don't read BL stories as they aren't my cup of tea, but MAN your story was really good! It was funny and really well written that I was thoroughly impressed!

Actually, lately, my favorite kind of comments has been "I don't usually read BL BUUUUUUUT" About my Technically-BL-but-not-yet-super-BL story, as I was scared to scare off people that wasn't into that.

And when people notice tiny details I put in and point them out in the comments. I LOVE that

Honestly, every comment I get is my favorite I just always feel so grateful and excited whenever someone comments! And I've got a lot of really sweet people reading my story and they're so nice it's crazy!

One that I really appreciated was

When I say I cried, I mean I CRIED!!

Also just like whenever someone comments that they binged the story, or found a moment really funny, or got excited because of an update, or related to a character, or were thinking about my story- just any comment really, it's AHHH!!!!!! I always tell my readers this because it's true, comments just mean the world to me, even if they are key smashes or constructive criticisms, from a long time commenter or one who only comments once, all the comments I get help motivate me so much and I'm always just so thankful whenever I get one!

It was one of the first comments I received and it made me feel like I wasn’t a fool for finally posting my work (which I was so skeptical to do). Also, the fact they binge read it and said a character name hit me! Like someone actually read this fast and paid attention

Also, credit to my reader for getting to sleep for school. 🏻

I also have a frequent reader and commenter who I probably owe my continuation of the story to. The fact they were engaged was all I needed to keep writing.

Her comment on the first page of my Webtoon/Tapas comic, "Finding Sam":

What a brilliant beginning!!! First of all, I absolutely love the layout and composition of each panel! Even though I had seen little previews of it, seeing it all together I found it amazing how the meaning and mood of each panel is enhanced by the colour scheme and the style, down to the distorted last image! It fits Sam's feelings and attitude towards his life so well, his frustration and disappointment.

The dream was so intense, his childhood happiness in front of the stage being contrasted with the madness of King Lear with nightmarish scenes foreshadowing the fact that it's not really a happy dream. I love how composed he looks in the panel when he's going to work, a sign of the mask he puts on in order to move from one day to the next even though he doesn't really find any appeal to it, and this is shown in his portrayal in the middle of a crowd. And the memories if his naive moments are sad. Poor Sam, having to work so much and get so little recognition and satisfaction in return! Of course he wonders if the grass would've been greener if he had taken the path of the theater...

My all time favourite comment came from someone who buys the hard copy of the comic. I had a table at a convention and had just released my 3rd comic book the day before, she came up to me and said:

"I mostly just read Marvel and DC, but this is now my favourite series."

Oh man the character name thing right? Readers naming your character is like suddenly they're out of your head and in someone else's! That hit me hard the first few times toooooo

Mine was "i love this!you're so underrated uwusubbed!" from user haneenshaib.2 on Episode 4b from my comic becasue I was REALLY depressed on that day I uploaded until I saw this comment, if I didn't see a comment like this I would of scrapped my comic months ago...
