I never get to publish my fanwork online (comic or prose) Some indeed come into reality, but I only share it with friends.

2009: It's rather a fantasy vocaloid fancomic which I only share among friends. I have forgotten the story but its along the line with some princess Hatsune Miku going on adventure to search for a dreamland she has been longing to visit, only to see the truth that the land had been plagued with evil. It's actually a very goofy light hearted comic.

2013: I also planned to made Frozen fanfic when the movie came out. Elsa got publicly executed in front of the angry mob who have suffered much in the winter, that many people starved, died, and lose their job. Traumatized Anna is exiled and ended up hanging herself. Kristoff escaped to countryside after Anna's death and never heard again, but rumor said he's killed while seeking refuge to neighboring kingdom. Hans led the Arandelle into prosperity and remembered as one of its best and most influential king who is beloved by public.
My friend said "I don't like frozen, but you're an asshole for making this," and I never get to properly write it. Although I feel it more realistic, in event of Frozen the people will indeed get pissed of Elsa; no matter what reasoning and personal issue she has, public doesn't know or care and expect a ruler to do their job ( which doesn't include freezing their subject).

I was around 10-12, and it was a weird crossover involving Disney movies and 80s animes. Luckily I wrote it on paper, so it was easy to destroy the evidence forever. I still cringe when I think about it.

The first fan fiction I wrote has a story to it as well.

Once some time ago, my father made a friend as a young man and they kept in touch until my father got sent overseas (he was in the military).

One day when i was 12, turning 13 soon, James contacted my father while we happened to be in Texas helping my grandma. We proceeded to visit where I met his son- Thomas. We really hit it off. He thought I was cool for a girl, and I got a crush on him right away.

The internet was still a new thing and after a few months back home, we figured out how to talk in chats and instant messenger. Wanting to talk more with Thomas and learning he loved a lot fo the same shows I did.... we decided to write a Beast Wars fan fiction together. For the better part of a year we became fairly close as we went back and forth with the file. We even started writing about other things and doing RP chatrooms and stuff.

It's because of that story we stayed close enough to where when I was in a bad relationship- he was there to comfort me and have both of us realize we cared deeply for each other. Which led to our eventual marriage (with some other stories in between).

We still make fan fiction together when we are in the mood.

I wrote one of those really typical Pokemon ones where you basically just write your self insert's journey. I think it was at the time Gold/Silver came out. I remember when I first started I had to write it on literal paper. And when it came to sharing fanfiction, I had to get up really early in the morning and type it up on the family computer using dial up and had to do it quickly before school.

I still actively write fanfiction, sometimes it's nice to just write inside a world already made for you and sometimes it's nice to tell canon it's wrong and my fave aren't dead they're happy and living a fluffy domestic life (why do I always get attached to the ones who die?).

You aren't missing out. Fan fiction can be great for you to explore alternate universe from what is canon. Fan fiction has its higlights and it's downright never read again, my eyes burn. Best example of the eye burning one: is that one about Harry Potter. Everyone on the internet has read that one and commented on it. Best example of a mega crossover fan comic is by this guy named Vinson Ngo, it's about to Powerpuff Girls. He got some much good and bad publicity from it, that Max Atoms, the creator of the Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy wanted to work with him. Vinson turned him down, though.

I wrote tons as a kid, couldn't even begin to identify which the first actually was xD Pokemon ones, digimon ones, a pokemon/sonic/yugioh thanksgiving special, legend of zelda ones, etc.

Some of the notable ones later on were like around middle school, I got like 9 pages into a pretty good digimon one (me and my friends-type plot). I don't have it anymore, but I recall a Naruto one I was pretty proud of where the first plot point was this one kid I didn't like getting assassinated in his sleep xD;; And in late middle school/early high school a friend and I co-wrote a few chapters of a Kingdom Hearts fan fic.

mine was a lego ninjago fic .....

it was first person shifting pov and had about 15 ocs in it. which is larger than the main cast. one of them i credited as creating the main villain of season 1. it had no plot & it was a mess.

I wrote a comic about my characters meeting kirby in a looseleaf notebook. It expanded into a universe featuring mostly nintendo characters with some mary sues including a mary sue named goldblade who liked fighting.

Funny story the goldblade character was made because I thought the blade brothers from minishcaps were chicks. Like how the hell was I to know that as a kid? They look like chicks and sounded like chicks so in my child mind they were ladies.
