What's your "type"

If you could create a fictional character who's your type, what would they be like personality wise?

Here's mine: a egotistical, reserved, tsundere who's secretly dominating.

I tend to like the dads, but sometimes I like some moms, like Laura from Little Demon.

I like when the dad is a little moody and sort of awkward/unconventional. And even if they seem a bit cold, you can tell that they do actually care, they just show it is their own weird way. Usually they have some sort of tragic backstory or chip on their shoulder yet they want to provide for their family to have something they didn't have growing up.

In terms of het love interests, my "type" is pretty much any guy who if he couldn't "have" a romantic relationship with his love interest, can find happiness in simply having A relationship (usually friendship) with his love interest. I know this often dubbed "friends to lovers" but to me, that usually means teen boy being "rewarded" with the love and affection of his more accomplished/talented, hot female friend.

But overall, I just enjoy the type of relationship dynamic where a person shows up with their own brand of chaotic weirdness and their partner or other members in the dynamic are 1000% on board. The dynamic doesn't have to be romantic, but it's always satisifying.

i feel like i could easily boil it down to tired dads and (good) wine aunts

like specifically the somewhat scruffy and a lil gruff but they've got a heart of gold and will hold u down brand of tired dad and then the vibrant kind of eccentric but still warm and caring when it counts wine aunt

both are sarcastic or a lil sassy but again can be warm if the need calls but also wont hesitate to tell you to "get your shit together"

they're also probably loaded but their sense of style might make you think otherwise

also because i'm a self indulgent brat i've got a handful of ocs like this because i need to perceive characters like this a lot

Judging from who I tend to obsess over from my current roster of OCs, I'm starting to suspect my 'type' is 'desperately needs a hug, but won't ask for one because they'll feel guilty if you give them one' XD Idk if that counts though since I wouldn't want to date someone like that IRL (though tbf I wouldn't want to date anyone IRL in general :P)
