Where's all the GL?

Browsing Tapastic for shoujo ai is like finding the needle in a haystack (in this metaphor, the hay is all the gosgdang BL comics). Where's all the GL????? Can someone give me some good recommendations please???? (I'd also like recommendations for comics not in the romance genre that also contains GL)

Go read Monster Pop! It's a story about monster kids attending school and dealing with the status quo when it comes to their kind (as there are humans in the world too). And of course, there are themes of GL without it being overdone for the sake of shipping (like there's tons of shipping but it's not all sex and stuff like BL comics tend to be, it has actual plot and drive to it). The art style is also adorable af lol

Try my comic It's in Western style, but it's exclusively about GL (romance, drama and action). It's called The Green-Eyed Sniper.

Are what I can remember at the moment. I Have only read the first one though, not sure is the second is any good. Searching for comics on this site is piss so I gave up some time ago, I pretty much just check out recommendations from people that do have time to slog through tapastic.

I really like Lavender. It's cute and well-drawn.
The only downside is update frequency. I wish more of it would come out. c:

There are relationships all over the spectrum in Rock and Riot! But I agree, GL is pretty thin on the ground, at least around here. :T I'm not sure why.

these aren't shoujo ai but they do heavily feature wlw!
not on tapastic but i love valerie halla's goodbye to halos
my comic, a book for monsters, hasn't quite gotten to that part yet(it's just starting out) but the main adult character is a lesbian and a lot of her story goes into her relationships with other women. i hope it's worth it to stick around until it gets to the romantic parts ;D

For the question why there are so little GL compare to BL....
Let just say that generally the online artists world is filled with females (DA is a good example), and females often enjoy BL as oppose to GL. (I'm fine with both but leaning more toward BL)

I never really got this. Just anecdotally, almost every girl I've ever broached the subject of gay guys getting sexual together seemed to weird out girls way more than it did out guys. And like guys, who almost universally don't mind a bit of girl on girl, the ladies I've spoken to aren't turned off by it at all either.

Maybe I'm just from a different generation.

LMFAO I'm not sure man, 99% of girls I have met on the internet are into BL (I'm mostly active on DeviantArt both in community wise and RP group wise), and not many of them are turned off by GL either. I think it's a normal thing that girls tend to like pretty guys so they don't mind 2 guys getting it on, vice versa for guys. Majority of my female friends like GL tho, they appreciate females' beauty ; )

Girls liking guy x guy has been around since I was a kid.

Though they were referred to as 'fag hags' and... as you can guess from the name was frowned upon. Now though it seems really common place.
