After a couple of you guys giving the first pages of my comic a critique (thank you so much btw), it came to my attention that lots of people found the font that I used distracting and didn't suit the tone of my comic. So, I looked for another font that I liked and tried it out! (I also stopped using the blur on the text so that it doesn't strain the eyes and much)

Here is my new page with the original font that I was told to change:

Here is the new font:

Which do you prefer? Why? And do you have any suggestions if you don't like either front?

I'm a bit confused and maybe I'm reading your comment wrong, but the new font is all capitals! Unless you mean that it shouldn't be all capitals.

Oh, my bad haha! Yep, the new one is better then ^^

I prefer the second font. The letters are bigger and easier to identify, therefore it’s easier to identify the words and the text doesn’t distract from the images. It’s more pleasant to read

I prefer the second one because it is more readable.
The size of the letters are more consistent, and the font itself is bigger which makes it easier to read

The new one is more playful and fits the situation better, it's a great choice! It's also not a fancy font, so if for more serious/spooky characters, you can combine with another all-caps front and it's not going to stand out too much from normal dialogue.

The second one. It fits the style of the art better...

I like both, but if I had to choose I like the first. Great page!!
