Which is the rudest comment you've seen in your comic

Rudest comment I got was actually on the forums that called me a shitty artist for drawing expressions on my character's masks (even though I only do this in silly scenes...). That was the only time I ever got a flat out hateful comment.
Other than that, probably just the occasional person that is ADAMANT that I'm copying something. I have creatures in my comic called "blanks" and this one guy was just fuck determined to convince me I stole the idea from that Simon Pegg movie, World's End. ...Even after I showed him a picture dating back from before that movie was even in production...

Oh! And people that get angry that I dare give people early access to pages for...gasp, a whole dollar on Patreon. I had some REALLY rude ass holes when I first announced my Patreon. =__=

I think I got a couple off-color comments on Demon House? I just remember glancing over the comments in my notifications, and I didn't really "get" what the person was saying or if they meant it as a joke? I dunno, heck. I'm too lazy to look through all my episodes to find it now. They weren't rude exactly, but I didn't see the point of them.

When I was posting my comic Welcome Back on another site they called the main villain literal hitler. When I tried explaining to them that the character never genocided anyone or was even close in comparison to how fucked up hitler was, not to mention the whole comic is about dreams and the villain was more symbolic than literal, they got angry at me and blocked me. My friends laugh this off at how stupid this person was and given I told them them he's part jewish lol

Over the course of about two weeks someome went through the first ten or so pages of West making snide comments about this and that, criticising the characters and hunting inconsistencies.

I didn't mind at all, honestly, I just didn't understand why they kept coming back to something they clearly didn't enjoy. The only time almost left a reply to them was to say 'dude, stop doing this to yourself, you really don't have to read this if you don't want to' but a) I kind of enjoyed their little rampage and b) they can do what they like. Whatever, pal. I thought it was hilarious.

i dont recall ever getting a really rude comment, but sometimes i'll get one with a reference i dont understand or care about, or i just dont understand the point of the comment... most recently ive gotten a couple comments mansplaining my historical fiction to me, on a subject that ive clearly already done a lot of research on. left me pretty annoyed tbh

but for the most part ppl who comment are super nice and kind and my heart aches every time <3

I've never gotten any really rude comments... The worst I've gotten is probably the "Your updates are too short" comments on Webtoons, which aren't really that bad, they just rub me the wrong way, like I'm sorry I'm just one person making a free comic by myself and can't mass-produced comic pages every month. >

I don't get too many comments on my comic Penciled, but the rudest one I've seen so far was "lol dumbass", but since that comic was a comedy comic, I'm not sure whether that was a compliment, a simple rude remark, or a mixture of both, but I've decided to take it as a compliment.

I don't generally get a lot of rude comments, at most I'll have the occasional reader who gets hung up on a minor technical detail. Something like "But _______ wouldn't be logically plausible because xyz!" and it's like... just hang on, not everything gets explained right away. Haha.

The only time I got a notably douchey comment was some random person who commented that the way I outlined my characters looked bad and my cities were bland, and that I shouldn't keep doing the comic until my artwork was better. It was pretty obvious they hadn't actually read the comic and were just looking for stuff to pick on. The idea that someone thought they could tell me to stop making my comic til I fixed stuff they didn't like is pretty amusing :u

I never received rude comments luckily.

But I get so SO many comments just saying "YOI" "This is yuri on ice" "YURIO" etc. Many are even from one and the same person? I mean, why? They don't say anything else except for the title of some overrated anime, multiple times on different pages. I just don't understand it, it's so weird haha.

Ahhh, I've been lucky thus far. I really haven't gotten anything "rude." The worst is probably people saying they're confused by something I hoped would be obvious which really isn't a bad thing. I'm just happy they're trying to figure things out, and maybe things will click later on for those readers.

Or maybe comments with references I don't understand, or don't make sense would be worse. Even then it's not rude, I just see it as them joking around.

@WakaXO Aww, jeez. I feel the "too short" comment is just a right of passage for people on Webtoon. You have to get that comment eventually. I'm still waiting for mine. I don't know how it hasn't happened to me yet, but it will happen since I only update with 2 pages at a time there. ;u;

I mostly get rude comments in the forums more than anything.
