Which matte screen protector should I get for my iPad?

I’m mostly getting one to protect from scratches and a better drawing experience but idk why I should buy.

It’s dirt cheap, you get two protectors and installation is not as difficult as it looks at first (just make sure you read the guide before you start peeling anything

Performance is great. I use my iPad daily for surfing and drawing. Yet, the film looks close to perfect. No abrasions or dirt under the edges of the film. The adhesive hold well as well.
The only scratch it has is from my cat’s back claws because he jumped on my iPad once xD
But aside of that, I installed the film in June and it looks perfect.

They warn you that the film will be like very fine sandpaper to the tip of your apple pencil or stylus. So the tip will wear down quicker. So far that has not happened to me. But if you apply lotsa pressure to your pen, you might want to be aware of that.

Also, it will add some ‘noise’ to your screen. So your screen won’t look high def anymorre.

It feels like very smooth paper, btw. So it’s not like drawing on glass but it’s still smoother than copier paper, I’d say.
But for the price it performs great

My dumbass misread it as mattress protector and I was trying to figure out why apple would ever release a queen-size ipad

Everybody I’ve ever known who draws on the iPad talks about PaperLike and it’s what I use based on their recommendations.

It has some tooth to it like paper does and it stops the Apple Pencil from sliding around as much as it would otherwise. I really like it a lot. It’s kind of on the pricier side of screen protectors but it’s specifically made with the Apple Pencil in mind and it shows.

I was looking at that one too but shied away because of the price (and a hand full of negative reviews which made me not want to risk it >.< )

Mind if I ask how well the film adheres to the iPad (how long do you use your’s atm)?
And on what type of paper does the surface of the film remind you? Like copier paper, copic paper, rougher sketchbook paper or something in between?
Also, did the pencil tip wear down faster on this one?

I don't have an iPad, I have the Korean version of the Galaxy Tab S4, but I also use the iCarez anti-glare matte screen protector on it. I got it more because I'm outside a lot in direct sunlight and that enables me to work without the glare, although it does give some nice texture to the S pen. I've had it since July. Daily use, multiple hours per day (I use the tab as my phone). No noticeable wear.

So far it's working pretty good for me. Have maybe a tiny air bubble near a corner, but the rest of it is good; def no sliding.
