Trying to decide which style to use for some background cedar trees in my comic.
Technically the floofy one is more of my "style" I guess, but I was trying something new with the papery looking one and thought it still looked like a valid style for a cedar tree. Maybe I could use both idk.

Also not asking whether my tree is "good" or "well illustrated". Not looking for art/technical critique here thank you.

If you had to choose one, which one would you chose? Floofy or Papery?

papery (that one reminds me the ones in my hometown <3 )

Both of them look really pretty to me, but I'd definitely go with papery if I had to choose one. But, I'd say you can use both of them, though. I think they'd make a good contrast when put together.

Thanks guys! It's interesting because it seems on here the papery one is liked more but on twitter the floofy one is liked more.

I will end up using both!

I'd go with papery! It looks more organic and naturalistic to me.

The floofy one looks more magical but the papery one looks more grounded, so if you are going for something more whimsical id go big, but if it's something more every day or surreal I'd go papery :).

Nice trees btw!
