Which part of comic creation you enjoy the most?

Although I do enjoy the part to brainstorm an idea and researching, but the coloring part is my most favourite part -- like it gives 'a breath of life'(lol) to the lines I made
lineart / inking is a tedious task for me since i like my lines clean and the line weight distributed fairly so it takes a lot of time-- so I kinda hate it.... but once finished I feel satisfied -- it's a love-hate relationship ^^

Lineart above the rest. It's relaxing and when it's done I can already see if the composition really works, where I should add/remove detail and if the characters wear the expressions I mean.

I like coming up with ideas, because it's effortless and anything is possible I also like inking because then it means I'm close to finishing a page, and it's very relaxing.

The most difficult part for me is getting my ideas into thumbnails/rough drafts. And the most boring part is lettering/editing.

Heheh, I get more stim from pacing back and forth then coloring a picture.

For me, the most exciting part of making a comic is plotting out a particularly engaging scene in my head. I get pretty excited the more I think about how it might affect the reader. It can be a little impractical actually, especially if I'm thinking about it while at work.

I like the painting part. I'm not good at it, but I find it relaxing or soothing.

I dislike the rest, lol. Writing, Lettering, Lineart, having to worry about panels and backgrounds, etc.

Coming up with the idea is probably my favorite part. Especially when it comes to fight scenes.

And the rest... I enjoy equally. I just like drawing and creating as a whole. I suppose editing might be the least favorite if I had to choose.

I like the brainstorming and actual writing process the most. There's just something really fun about going into an idea and really molding it into something, you know?

As for when I'm drawing, I actually like inking the most, not sure why. I think it's because I don't have to think too hard about inking compared to the others. Least favorite part is doing backgrounds because it's like a chore to me lol

I like the inking stage the most, followed by sketching. I think it’s because inking is when it really starts to resemble what will be the finished product.

Shading is far and away my least favorite step. Probably because it’s the part I feel I’m weakest at.

Definitely planning hahahah I love drawing too but playing around with the characters in my head is the most fun. Drawing-wise I like sketching the most, both the rough sketches and the cleaner ones. Lineart is alright and flats and cell shading are a pain to me x'D

I find inking super relaxing, but i hate storyboarding. I wish I had the money to play someone to do all my storyboards

I love seeing a scene come to life on a page. It feels really amazing to just see your characters in your head and then be able to bring them to life exactly how you want! It's even better when people are reacting to your characters with the same excitement you are!

I like inking and coloring the most ^^ I agree with @Inspector_Spinda, I find inking relaxing, kind of therapeutic for me. I don't like sketching out the panels as much as the rest of the processes. I think my list from favorite to least favorite goes like this:

Inking/Coloring (they're pretty much equal favorites xD)
Thinking of ideas
Planning out dialogue/actions
Researching/Finding references
Editing
Sketching/Storyboarding for an episode

Overall, I enjoy everything, just in varying amounts. Sketching doesn't get me as pumped as the other processes because it's a bit slow and isn't close to the final result. The beginning processes like thinking of ideas and planning out dialogue and scenes, researching/finding references isn't close to the end result either, but I love to write and think of a bunch of ideas ^^ And once I start sketching, I just want to be done with it so I finish it up all nice. It's kind of the middle of my process (probably passed the middle but still) so it's like the Wednesday of my art process. Just want to get over that hump!

I really enjoy writing the scripts and creating panels for my comics, sketching, lineart and coloring are mixed emotions with me since it depends on what I envisioned for the scene and if I have trouble with character poses, the only thing I don't like doing is fixing errors and doing word balloons, mostly the "spikey" ones, I can never get them to look right.
