I've read all your posts guys, very interesting! Be sure to read each others personalities! Really cool stuff (and comics) we're getting here.
Neat, it's cool seeing how personalities form different work practices! People are so interesting~ :]
Yeah I've shown this quiz to some people who had changed personalities. It could either be:
a) it took a while before your personality got to mature.
b) self-awareness took a while to settle in.
Why hello there, stranger! I've never heard of your comic before ;D
haha I agree. I find the INFJ personality really ideal for webcomic making. The desire to see others succeed (helping other webcomic peeps), the drive and determination to make something different, the strong idealism, etc. Makes a lot of sense!
oh heavens no, these kind of things should be treated like guidelines rather than strict rule books. The concepts exist, and there's a science behind them, but we're not bound to those rules (:
Ooh wow, so your personality kind of directly influences your writing! Makes sense, since we often write about ourselves.
Yoooo! * high-five *
Yeah, I think that helps a lot with our kind of personality. Some people burnt out quicker, and would rather start a new project from scratch. We like evolving more so.
Indeed! I like seeing how characters reflect their creators. From the protagonist to the antagonist, it's always fascinating seeing how the author's ideals are reflected.
Thank you for sharing!
Hullo <3 I can't say, it might reflect your "just do" behavior when you draw! My personality has a bit of "perfectionist" in there- it shows when I follow a method too mechanically to the point my style became bland from following one rule all the time as "the perfect rule". My comic's trying to break out of that by letting me be messy.
INFJs represent! Actually, I've taken into consideration of that, and I've passed this test around non-webcomic people to see what their results were. None of them scored an INFJ, one of them even admitted that was why they couldn't stay committed to their attempt at a webcomic (she had the type of personality that likes starting short new projects). It got me thinking if there was a "webcomic-compatible personality" since I was the only one in my circle who scored INFJ, and the traits looked very webcomic-friendly.
I'm not completely surprised that we're getting INFJs here. We have a lot of introverts on the internet (you'd think we were a majority), yet we're just 25% of the human population XD but introverts thrive on the internet, so I expected a lot of introverted responses.
Actually yes! I struggle with this too. It's part of my "perfectionist" personality, when I think into criminally meticulous detail I end up stiffening the story. My looser organic structured stories end up much better!
Nice. Empathizing with others is really important in creating varied characters. Understanding people who aren't like us is what stories are all about!
ppfff haha XD we have some INTPs here who started webcomics! Join us!
You're the only protagonist so far! Gasp! Save us great hero!
