Which type of post style do you prefer?

when it comes to story driven comic's do you guys prefer a page a day? or a couple of pages on the weekends or do you not mind waiting an entire month for the entire comic? which style gives you more hype to see?

as a reader i prefer a couple of pages every weekend, 1 page a day isn't bad either, whole thing in 1 month sounds good but i wouldn't want to read through the whole thing in one sitting unless the story was REALLY good or if i had nothing better to do lol (which is all the time). weekends or 1 one page a day would also be better to catch more readers on different days. i feel all that matter though is that you upload consistently

I don't like one page a day as I don't think you could give enough story every day. Once a week allows for a story and allows for a cliffhanger to bring them back. Once a month for a full story sounds ok, but webcomic readers don't seem to like to wait that long between stories.

A page a day is something I find horribly annoying. I much prefer to have logical blocks of story in a single 'episode'. The full story at once would be nice, eliminates the waiting game.

As for my own work, well I have no consistent upload schedule, and frankly I don't care enough to have one. It'll appear in chunks when it's ready. I just won't rush myself to keep up with a weekly or even monthly upload schedule.

As a reader, I prefer few pages once-twice a week. One page per week is still good. With page per day, it depends on how much I like the comic. If I LOVE it, I'd LOVE to have daily updates. If I don't care about it THAT much, daily notifications might be a bit annoying. Still, I don't mind.
As for waiting an entire month for the entire comic, this one is tricky. I don't mind waiting at all, however if the update is really big, I might end up not reading it. Not because I don't like the story, but because I usually read webcomics when I have a very short break. If the update is big and I see that I won't be able to read it during my short break time, I'll leave it for once I have more time. But when I have more time, I draw or read a book instead. Sooo it keeps being pushed for the future and I can eventualy forget about the series at all :x

Depending on how long your pages are, 1-3 times a week is a good update frequency. Thrice a week is a standard for several webcomics I see with their own websites.

I prefer someone to post when they have something worth my reading time.

Gag artists can usually get away with daily or whatever because they can usually deliver a solid read in three or four panels.

Something in modern decompressed style? If it takes a month then I'll happily read once a month.

I prefer reading longer updates less frequently. Preferably a whole chapter at a time. The good thing about it is that I can just wait until an episode is fully out and catch up then even if the creator is catering to those who read shorter updates more frequently. Meanwhile, those who only read for shorter periods at a time, might not read stories with an upload schedule that caters to those like me because it's too long between updates and the updates are too long for them.
