I guess Long John Silver from almost any version of Treasure Island. I have watched way too many versions of Treasure Island, I think I need help lol

I also really like the mercs from TF2. I don't know if I can pick just one, I like all of them.

I also like the characters from stuff like Moomins, Mr. Men, and Barbapapa because they are very sweet and wholesome. And sometimes you just need stuff like that.

Roger the Homunculus from Hellboy and BPRD

I just dig this guy, he's got a nice personality, or lack there of, as he's trying to figure it out. Being a soulless construct can have that effect on ya

Props to Mike Mignola creating him, and John Arcudi for developing this guy out. Roger is great.

@Reth chainsaw man looks badass ( was just looking at art for it) I'm a fan of dark superhuman stuff so getting that vibe from it,. Always heard of tokyo ghoul, never read it but one of my friends said my comic reminded them of it- will check those out for sure sometime

No More Heroes games are a huge inspiration for me. Travis Touchdown has always been this really interesting character where I realized "Oh! So horrible people can be protagonists!". I just loved the journey he goes through and how Suda manages to make him this frightening creep while also making him chill and a laid down dude that you'd just like to talk with. It's bizarre. SPEAKING OF.

I love how this guy is the most realist character out of the whole Guardians (MCU wise). I love his interactions and how broken he is as an individual. Loved how Endgame made him this old, experienced raccoon with nothing to lose.
Star Lord and Nebula are also two of my favorite characters.

It's Batman...what else can I say?

I love these two weirdos. Booster for having a heart of gold while also being superficial af (also the concept that he's like the third hero in Metropolis and the sucky thing about him is that he's a glory hog). Also the concept that he's MEANT to be one of the most important heroes in the multiverse despite being well... superficial.

Blue Beetle's great because Steve Ditko originally wrote him as a middle finger to Spider-Man. I love his backstory that he's just doing all this just because of guilt because of his evil uncle and the fact that he cracks jokes 24/7. Also how he's basically Batman, but he's aware he's wearing a goofy outfit.

Kong Skull Island is unironically the second best King Kong movie. Right before the original of course. Third place is the underrated Son of King Kong.

@nathanKmcwilliams yep BIG G was probably the 1st favorite from toddler days, my lil 3 year old nephew is strictly a Godzilla and dinosaur fan (he knows most of them by heart too), my brother (his dad) and I been having lots of nostalgia moments XD Yep I admire your dino drawings, excited for whenever you do Godzilla ones, saw you did in the past too

@powerplantanimations homeboy would have been awesome in smash, funny thing Ryu in smash and I still haven't played it yet heard Cloud n Sephiroth made it an i still slacked off lol Always wanted to play No more heroes, saw they did the gritty superhero dark humor route which also inspires my comic's vibe, I got to play it sometime. Yep batman is epic stuff, never heard of blue n gold but looks interesting!

Haha thanks. I will probably be doing some stuff for Kaijune in the summer. I haven't drawn Destoroyah before that I can recall, but I can remedy that I'm sure.

There's a lot of cough anime cough characters that I really love but here's one I think is super cool: Lain from "Serial Experiments Lain"! It's a short and psychedelic series about a girl and the internet. That's all I say because spoilers. It was one of the first series I watched outside Sailor Moon, Pokemon, etc. I've always loved the dark, gritty aesthetic. It makes the unusual scary and beautiful.

...Also, throwing in some love for the ole Mothra myself! Favorite kaiju!

@stiatent Ehhhh I wouldn't call No More Heroes gritty. It actually embraces the silver age (ESPECIALLY No More Heroes 3 which makes it more unique). The only time they've ever referenced something like Frank Miller or Gareth Ennis is the cover art of No More Heroes 3.

The humor is dark, which I agree, but I get more of a Lynchian/Old Cowboy movie vibe than anything regarding dialogue. I'd call the original No More Heroes more punk tho. Travis Strikes Again managed to be something a little more and No More Heroes 3 was WAY light hearted than the previous games. Like there's still death and all that, but it isn't really played for laughs. Not in a serious way? But not in a comical way either.

I guess No More Heroes 2 is the closest to a Gareth Ennis style? But even then 3 was like "Yah, no... 2 was stupid".
