I like what You Are Hue authors have been doing for years:
* for every 10k they publish a new episode, but it's in b\w,
* at 400-500k it's some big goal like a bigger story or a colouring book,
* for every dono of 500 and above you get a raffle ticket and the reward is a drawing with your prompt.

Previously I've done some absolutely bonkers announcement episodes (which are no longer possible because of the size limit on GIFs ), and smaller GIF pages as rewards.

I think this year I might do something like a story progression for every 5k, but I've also had an on and off hiatus for a very long time due to life stuff, so I don't hope for much :C Maybe if I manage to push a bunch of updates before inktober I can no longer say I've been on a hiatus

I've heard that's an option, yes. We just have to contact Tapas to have it done.

I am probably not going to participate because I don't understand what it is and how it works. I tried reading explanations and I still don't get it.

@skullforceagents work at your comfort my friend.
Basically its to encourage others to donate ink to your series, that you can cash out via paypal. (1600 ink = $1.99 US as seen on Tapas ink shop, but you need to make at least $25 USD to transfer to paypal)
I guess mostly, to kickstart use of that Ink feature on Your Tapas page, say you didn't make over $25 (Ink Feature not mandatory either if you prefer your usual alternate income streams). From my experience it does put readers in the habit donating ink from time to time, possibly stumbling across a past inksgiving post you made etc.
So during inksgiving authors make ink rewards based on total amount of ink collected
eg. 2000 Ink Reward - Q&A with MC
Bob gave 200, Sally gave 1000, Roger gave 1000 ink= 2000 ink reward unlocked!
If you decide to do it, would recommend come up with rewards you feel comfortable making that reflect aspects of your series. Q&A's, Profiles and Top Ten Facts are usual ones and since many participants of inksgiving are creators, maybe stuff like 'their series' shoutouts for top donor etc can serve as incentives too? (can always see other's rewards for examples)

Just wanted to say I love your cover, so pretty! Totally get the social media thing though. Bluesky has been pretty good so far and I sometimes post on insta. But yeah, maybe try bluesky because they love original content there!
